Here is a terrific way to show your acceptance of diversity in our world. This will show your acceptance of international ideas and products in a unique and powerful way.

That is the NRA's concept of diversity. The company that makes these shirts shoud sell them at gun shops, gun shows, NRA conventions, probably make some nice coin.

The following mind-boggling attempt at a crime spree in Renton Highlands near Seattle, Washington appeared to be the robber's first (and last), due to his lack of a previous record of violence, and his terminally stupid choices:

1. His target was H&J Leather & Firearms, a gun shop specializing in handguns.

2. The shop was full of customers - firearms customers.

3. To enter the shop, the robber had to step around a marked police car parked at the front door.

4. A uniformed officer was standing at the counter, having coffee before work.
Upon seeing the officer, the would-be robber announced a hold-up, and fired a few wild shots from a .22 target pistol. The officer and a clerk promptly returned fire, the police officer with a 9mm Glock 17, the clerk with a .50 Desert Eagle, assisted by several customers who also drew their guns, several of whom also fired.

The robber was pronounced dead at the scene by Paramedics. Crime scene investigators located 47 expended cartridge cases in the shop. The subsequent autopsy revealed 23 gunshot wounds. Ballistics identified rounds from 7 different weapons. It's unclear how many shots were fired, in part because some of the suspect's shots struck ammunition on a counter, causing the ammunition to explode. "There were slugs all over that place," Renton police Capt. Don Persson said.

No one else was hurt in the exchange of fire."

I think its the tshirt manufacturers idea, as the NRA would have their name on it.

It's pretty funny, though. As soon as firearms are alluded to someone will mention the Great Satan (the NRA) and take their own potshot.

But, hey, thats how conversation gets started.

OK....thats funny as hell. Although it sounds like a couple of those guys need to spend a little more range time practicing.

UH60....welcome to the show here. Make sure that when you start carrying troops on training flights out at Camp Frank Merrill you have your people pack plenty of poguey bait for the Ranger and LRS trainees. Hoouah!

But it happens, I've had it happen at a drug operation - marked units in the driveway, unmarked as well, half a dozen uniformed officers inside the residence . . . here comes numbnutz - want to buy some crack . . . I swear on my Granny's Grave - it's true. Why do you think they call it DOPE!

Related to me by a retired FBI agent now in private security.

About 15 years ago in south Atlanta a bank robber decided to rob a bank. He was very careful and cased the place thoroughly, concluding that Thursday at 2PM was the least busy time of the day. He set it up so that his car would be left running in the lot in the handicapped spot for easy access in and out, and he went into the bank, marched up to the teller and told her to empty out the cash drawer and to have the other tellers do the same. He was not intending to rob the walk-in safe, as he had determined the police response time to the bank by calling 911 to report a mugging there the previous week, and knew how long it would take the Fulton county police to respond.

What he did not take into account was that the FBI had recently wrapped up a covert operation where they had over two dozen agents in town for a money-laundering/drug sting, and they had ATF, USS, IRS and even US marshalls in on the deal to sting these money laundering druggies in this restaraunt they owned. The reason that this became important to the robber was that these agents had just wrapped their debrief and had all been paid their travel and TDY pay and half of them were at the bank cashing checks and standing in line. The robber is holding his 5 shot Charter Arms .38, when he sees the teller start to cry....he tries to comfort her saying it will all be over soon and all she has to do is cooperate. This robber must have been tunnelling, because it took him a minute or two to turn around and see no less than 15 weapons pointed at him while a couple other agents were checking the rest of the crowd.. all done very silently....until one of them finally starts to chuckle and the rest start to join in. The agents evidently had even more difficulty finding someone with handcuffs and this caused even more laughter.

The robber put his weapon down, and sat down...reportedly in tears himself.

Hope not to offend anyone here. A little humor never hurt anyone, and when you stir the pot with Cynthia as your stick, you ought to check out her walk as compared to her talk on the subject of diversity, which has become a code-word that is used too often to bash people.

I think my walk on the subject as far as how I live my life does the talking for me.

That and the person that sent this to me happens to be a black dude, a cop who votes democrat (to my everloving consternation, but I'm working on it) no less.

I fully agree with you on every point.

It completely demeans the notion of diversity in America, by playing to the mindset of some people that the only diversity they support is a smorgasbord of firearms.

The 2nd Amendment is a closed chapter, and very rarely do you find liberals attempting legislation to end gun ownership any more. This whole gun issue is just a way to get stupid people riled up over an issue that is, for all intents and purposes, over and done with.

Well, I did not intend to get everyone riled up, I thought it was a funny t-shirt.

But as far as getting stupid people riled....I don't think you or Fly are stupid at all....as a matter of fact you guys are pretty smart...but you got a little riled there. Didn't you?

Oh, and the 2nd Amendment is not a dead issue.....many liberals have the idea that all they have to to is be quiet about it until they get back in power then they can make hay.

I believe that was a fairly politically ecumenical crowd with even the very democratic Jesse Jackson putting in an appearance. The spokes people were the far Christian Right crowd, but the crowd and the people were more religious than political.....evidenced by the political threats made against the Governor and President.

I also don't agree with the description of democratic girls. That is more of the feminist type who works at the bulldyke image. Most of the girls I've met who are democrats, including my lovely cousins to whom I'm the big brother they'd love to educate, are regular girls who run from ugly to beautiful inside and out.
