Have they discovered a particularly toxic and mucilaginous genus of cockroach then ?

From the article : "while the cheneyi and rumsfeldi are from Mexico."

How ironic - doesn't matter what they're called, the US won't let them in, and if they sneak across the Rio Grande, Republican vigilantes will squish them ! Big grin

So what? A whole genus of extinct early mammals (of the class docodonta) was named after my father (who was deeply involved in describing them and interpreting the fossils). They live during the late jurassic and cretaceous period, at the same time as the dinosaurs, were probably tree climbing insect eaters about the size of an oppossum and were likely to either have a bag like to oppossum for the babies or they laid eggs like the platypus (I´m not sure, I´m not a palaeontologist and didn´t read the publications in deep).

Nope.
Hillary Clinton gets a bug spray named after her.

Actually a few years back, the nobel commitee were considering offering Dubya the peace prize, provided he didn't invade Iraq.

Two countries occupied by the US within his first period as prez, I doubt he'll ever get it...  Smile

Perhaps one type of insect should be named after conterversial Republican Congressman Tom DeLay. Prior to getting into politics, he ran an insect exterminating company  cheeky

There may never be a library, bridge or aircraft carrier named after Bush, Cheney or Rumsfeld, but they have bugs in their names which feed on mould.

That was a pretty good one...

In other news, John Kerry will have a shoe line named after him. Anyone care to guess what kind of footwear it will be?  Smile

Democratic leaders are never endangered. It's only dictator-monarchs (such as Jordan has) that will die out as the entire world moves to democracy.

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.
