Thanks for the support dude. I haven't seen "John Rocker" around here lately (I assume you're talking about "CRJ"), so maybe he got kicked off permanently. Sorry you got kicked off. I didn't read that particular exchange, but I'm sure it was probably interesting to say the least.
I just made reservations for some friends of mine on your favorite airline: Delta! My best friend is surprising his wife for her birthday and their anniversary by flying her down to my partner's house in FLL in Sept. for a weekend. They live near Newark, so Continental and/or Delta were the best choices (non-stop and the cheapest).
I'm excited because I'm flying to LA this weekend to see my other best friend. She's turning 30 (she just got a boob job a couple months ago and is looking for a boyfriend in case any of you straight LA guys - with the exception of MattD - are looking for a date). I'm flying on a 767 from STL-LAX and I haven't been on a TW '67 before. I'm hoping I'll be in TWFirst. We're then driving to LAS on Saturday to see Duran Duran (a favorite of ours from the 80's.) Should be hilarious. I haven't been to Vegas before.
Take it easy dude. Are you still heading up to Minnesota this fall to see your girlfriend??

Maybe you should come to Vegas too so you can win you some $$$$$.
Dude, I'm telling ya, get up here by EARLY November. I'm sure the other Minnesotan members of this forum will agree that you don't know what the hell you'll experience from about Thanksgiving on...
Although 2 years ago my partner and I were stringing Christmas lights on the front bushes in short sleeved shirts while drinking beer - it was in the mid 60's! (Which you might think is cool, but is pretty amazing for here). I think it was nearly as warm last year as well. In fact, the last 3 winters have been mild (unlike the winter of '91 when we had 27 inches of snow on Halloween day - I kid you not) and all the natives have been pissed because they can't ride their snowmobiles in the ditches along the highways or ice fish or do any of the other nutty things they do up here in subzero weather. I remember 4 years ago, there was an entire week in January when the HIGH temperature for the day never got above 17 BELOW ZERO! And the lows were around 35 BELOW!!! Without windchill!!!! My car was nearly brand new and it wouldn't start.
But enough about Minnesota. I better stop posting because I don't want this thread with my name on it to keep popping to the top.

When I was in Wisconsin for my grandfather's funeral (unfortunately), it was so cold that the icicles started melting at 15 below zero. That is why I never want to live in the Midwest, except for Chicago. Also, according to this one girl I met on a student-tour trip, Minneapolis is supposed to be a pretty happenin place, so much that she wanted to move there when she grew up. Drawing upon my experiences with Minnesota, I could not stop laughing. However, those were mostly Duluth-Superior centered , so I guess I should shut up.
Well, have fun in the City of Sin (more recently known as the City of Disgusting No-Limits Rampant Gaming Capitalism). You will have a blast considering it is your first time there. What kinds of stuff are you going to do?

You're thinking of Holidazzle. But it's not really a festival, but rather a Disney electric parade wannabe sponsored by Target (formerly Dayton Hudson Corp.) to get people downtown to shop (at Dayton's, of course).
Holidazzle was supposed to be exported to Chicago and Detroit last year too (home of Target Corp's Marshall Fields and Hudson's, respectively). Don't know if it was successful there.
Aaron: I'm going to LAS because my friend in LA thought it would be hilarious to drive to Vegas and see Duran Duran (you're too young to remember them in their heyday, but they were probably the predecessor of all the "boy bands" to follow - except they're actually a real band rather than just 5 singer/dancers. They're also credited with helping MTV explode in popularity in the early 80's).
So, we're going to drive there Sat. morning, hang out and explore during the day (maybe drink, maybe play some slots, maybe go to New York New York) and then go to the concert Sat. night. Then drink some more. Then finally crash. Then try to get up to catch my noon flight home. Should be a blast!

I didnt think about it
I dont think at all since friday.
Friday night = wild party
Saturday night = party
Sunday night = party
Monday night = party
Teusday night = party
Wednesday I took day off from work cause I couldnt walk and I was halfdrunk when I woke up 12 noon
Wednesday night = party
So I started celebrating my B-Day little early
But most Polish people start celebrating B-Days month before and end month after hehehe
CstarU, its not gonna be kielbasa for dinner Saturday, I bet any money that its gonna be some italian food.

No, shes not Italian, shes pure Polish chick. But that lazy butt not gonna cook anything else than spaghetti with meatballs or lasagne (dont know how to spell this).
I "was" just a ramper at IAD for USAirways. Not anymore, can't handle that anymore even lately I was there only part time, working 3 days a week for few hours.
What I'm gonna do for my 30th B-Day??? hmmm I guess I'm not gonna be around for another few years. With my current lifestyle I will have aids, lung cancer and testicular cancer, (maybe some herpies from time to time) But so far I dont have anything like that. + I will have some deasises that doctors dont know names for them yet hehehe
I was drinking Heineken, Corona and Grolsh. Its very hard to get Polish beer in Maryland. There is some in Baltimore but who wanna drive 45minutes to get beer???
I bet any money that in that bar they have one of those beers:
10 & half
It must be one of them.
I dont drink vodka almost 5 years. I started when I was 12-13 and stop it at the age 19. When I was working in a full service restaurant as a chef for 3 years, everyday started with mug of beer and shot of vodka (100ml).
When I left Poland I said Good Bye to this white killer. Right now I'm drinking mostly Canadian made whiskey, tequilas, wine and beer. But no Vodka at all.
I threw up my guts out of my body so many times that now when I'm thinking about vodka, my brain (or rest what is left from it) automaticly says NO you gonna be sick again you fool. hehehe
I like to mix alcohol, I cant just drink all night just whiskey or tequila., I need start with beer then wine and then hard liquor.

It was Zywiec. I liked it. I think they have a couple of other brands you mentioned as well.
You are a chef??? You are multi-talented!
Maybe with your lifestyle you should consider going into the porn industry. Great fun and good money. .
I must say, you are much more promiscuous than I've ever been. So why do my people get such a bad reputation?? (OK, let's not start that discussion again)
Anyways, getting back to liquor, I swore off tequila three years ago after I went down to St. Louis for my friend's wedding. I drank so many different liquors during the reception, and then we ended up back at the bride and groom's house and partied until 3 am. I went to bed after doing 2 shots of tequila. It was the worst hangover of my entire life the next day. I had planned to drive to my parents house 2 hours away, and I had to pull over on the side of the interstate and puke on the highway!!! Then I had to pull over to a hotel to sleep for three hours because I was so sick. A 2 hour drive turned into a 6 hour drive. But then I recovered at my parents and then drove back to Minnesota the day after that. The smell of tequila makes me sick now.

Oh God. You caught me. OK, I'll 'fess up. I'm Jeff Stryker.
Well, I was just kidding about the porn industry suggestion, but based on what we know about Lindy, I think he would like having sex with lots of women and getting paid for it. I'm sure he would get paid more than what he did as a ramp agent. I suppose the pay would depend on how he "performs", but if he can get drunk every day and date 4 women at once (he mentioned that in another thread) then I'm sure he must not have any trouble "performing".
