Well the title of the thread sort of explains it all. We have a lot of members around the college age and I was just curious as to what your decision is for the 2005/2006 school year? Anyone already in college but transferring for one reason or another (if so what is your reason for transfer)?
As for me I'll be going to George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Major in Government and Int'l Politics and minoring in Latin.
Edit: Forgot to mention that this will be my freshman year

The University of Hawaii at Manoa. I'm transferring from HSU. This place totally sucked. It was cold, the women were ugly, and there was nothing to do on the weekends. Also, a lot of hippies. I didn't think I'd mind them before I came up, but once I did, man I got to hate them. What a bunch of lazy sleazebags. Hippies are the epitome of filth.

I'm still torn in between attending University of Texas - San Antonio or University of Oregon to get a B.A. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations.
UTSA will be a lot cheaper, but UO seems to have the better program; however, I'm not sure if the extra debt of going to UO would be worth it..

3rd year at Caltech in sunny southern California
I'm very impressed !
I graduated from MIT, and we all looked at Caltech as MIT^2.
My sister graduated from Caltech and got her PhD from there, and while I thought that Caltech was a scary place, Pasadena must have the best weather in the world.

Wow, MIT, nice one . I have just heard of Caltech being called the MIT of the west.
I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

As an Oregonian, U of O would be a good choice. Nice campus. Close to skiing and the beach. Lots of hippies... Good school.
As for me, I'll be entering college the near after next, where I hope to attend (fingers crossed if I can do well on SAT/ ACT): Stanford, Duke, Georgetown, Rice, or USC.
