After 1 year waiting it's finally time for some real hockey again.

Saturday is the day wen this years championship begins.

And after watching the different rosters I was a little dissapointed that so many NHL players has chosen not to play. That is a damn shame. They haven't even played the NHL this season so they can¨t complain about being tired as they usually do.

So this year will probably be very close. I know that Denmark won't have a chance. They will play against Finland, Sweden and Ukraine in the group stages. So they won't win.

So my guess to this years winners will either be Canada or Russia.

Maybe they're busy looking for some real jobs now that the NHL is virtually history. pessimist

I am excited!

Unfortunately the US looks weak, too young and inexpreienced.

I have to go with Canada or Russia also.

Figures, as soon as my Lightning win the Cup the damn thing shuts down.

Based on the rosters alone, these two look to be tough to beat. I look at the USA roster and wonder what the hell Don Waddell was thinking when he put this roster together. There are some good veterans on the team, as well as some up and coming young players, but the bulk of this team looks like players plucked from the third and fourth line, some of them I've never even heard of (Who the @#$% is Andy Roach?).
