This morning I was pretty bored in front of my PC and decided to go to google.com and search for my name. I couldn't find any webpage that talked about me, but I did find a guy who was my exact name who also lives here in Caracas and is 2 years older than me! pretty weird, huh?
What about you guys?
Viasa we miss you!. Good times will return after Chavez is gone!

I googled myself eons ago, and I turned out to be a financial planner in Scottsdale, AZ. Oddly, when I googled myself again about a year ago, he disappeared off the face of the earth. It made me wonder ... to Brazil?

I did...and I got some results, that indeed dealt with me, not somebody that bears the same name. It didn't come as a surprise, having published a book and some other stuff, and after reading my name in the press after some big deals I was involved in. Other than that...thankfully no

Googling myself turns up a pro golfer in Connecticut, and then later some reviews on Amazon on like the third or fourth page. The only two people I know (and there are times when i got so bored i put a whole bunch of names through google) that show up first on a google search of their name are my dad whose bio is on a website of his work where he is CFO, and a friend from Olympia whose name is mentioned in the local newspaper in an article on the baseball team.
Interesting. The info it had for me is over 5 years old, for my sister had no address or phone number, and no info for a number of people I know, except it did list the home address for someone I know who has gone to great lengths to keep their address private (including having all bills and taxes go to his accountant's address).

I googled myself, and several members of my family, me among them, appear in the first page of the results. This is due to professional activities, essentially...

I did.
Found someone with the exact same name as me in the USA. I emailed the guy cos it was just a bit weird and then found out his Dad has the same first name as my Dad!
Luckily our Mothers have different names, and he doesn't have a brother like I do.

Kind of wrong.
It has my mom on there-her old house.
Then it has my dad listed on the same address as my mom. My parents were divorced over 10 years ago. My dad never lived in that house that was listed on the site.
Not to mention it doesn't have my dads current address. Interesting..

I do it often because my name is unique. Occasionally I find interesting stuff about myself or Mr. Harlot's family. Last summer I googled my dad's name and found a photo of him from 1955 that neither my mom nor I even knew existed! That was neat.

Yes I have... and among the zillions of unrelated results, a couple newspaper articles where my name was mentioned, as well as an alumni newsletter referencing me, have popped up.
