Back home in Chesterfield, the only major club is Zanzibar. There are a couple of smaller ones but they're never as popular and keep changing ownership. Despite being a dump, Zanzibar is one of those places that's so bad that it's good.
Here in Leamington, the only club of any note is called Mirage, and then it's only any good on Thursday which is student night. Other than that, it's the University Of Warwick Students' Union for me!

The closest restaurant/bar is this place called Tortilla Flats. Apparently the margaritas are excellent but they're the only way you can stomach the food. The restaurant/bar with dancing is a place called Paragon, about a 7-10 minute walk. The closest nightclub in the sense of just a bar with loud music and a lot of dancing would probably be somewhere in Downcity (Providence's name for its downtown), about 15-20 minute walk from my place.

Well, I'm from (see username), so that would mean nowhere. I actually only know of one "nightclub" off hand -- "Area 51". There's a strip club not far from my house -- "Southern Exposure"

1223 AKA MCCXXIII-- a nightclub in Washington D.C. Its pretty exclusive, and A LOT of fun on saturdays, when you can get into "Spank" the VIP area on the top floor. Lots of fun house music to dance to, and plenty of nice eye candy. The crowd is pretty classy too, which is nice than some of the more ghetto clubs that have a reputation for bar fights and even shootings...

Quoting Gigneil (Reply 9): The nearest actual club is called Cobalt. Its a gay club
Cobolt is a cool nightclub (right on the corner of busy intersection in Dupont Circle area -- it was closed because of fire damage? Now it's back in business (new repair interior work)?

The nearest nightclub to me is called The New Monkey, about 1.5 miles from me. It's for under 16's and is always causing havoc, with drunken kids roaming the streets and handy for the kids in case they walk into oncoming traffic as it is opposite the hospital. It's also a bit of a drugs den. The name is taken from it's parent nightclub, The Blue Monkey, which was notorious for being raided for drugs, and police swarmed in on the place nearly every week, until it got burned down to the ground, and is now part of the multiplex cinema, what a joy Sunderland is to live in.
