Geologists are calling it a spectacular find — the largest onshore discovery in at least 30 years, located in a region of complex geology long abandoned for exploration by major oil companies. It’s turning out to contain high-quality oil already commanding a premium at Salt Lake refineries.

Well, if this does turn out to work, maybe I'll pay less for gas in the summers! I'm surprised they're shocked considering that's right by "Dinosaurland".

No doubt.

I'm imagining a pipeline to a refinery, a refinery line to the airport and Delta buying gas in SLC for $.99 a gallon.

hehe, yeah, sure, that'll happen. Just so you know, there is a refinery practically right next to the airport.

Yes, but this will be the Delta Refinery. Or... SkyWest who then sells to DL for $3.99 eventually sucking them dry and buying them out.

The LDS Church would get control of it before Delta would, mark my words. Delta knows no competition in the airline world that's on the level of the LDS Church.
