These sick SOBs are putting poor little kittens in a bottle and feeding them through tubes. Their urine and waste is taken out from a tube also. These people should be shot! Can't somebody do something about that??

My god. Who do these people think they are to do that to an animal. That is not "art"; its abuse and cruelty.

On the website Sk902hvy posted it explains what the animals go through. There is a protest to stop this and it says to send 500 signatures to the email posted. Everyone on a.net should sign it, maybe everyone should sign there name here than someone could send it.

Flight152,

Perhaps you missed this part:

Origins: If all you want to know is whether bonsai kittens are real, you need read only the following paragraph:

Bonsai kittens are not real. Nobody is making bonsai kittens. Nobody is selling equipment to help people make bonsai kittens. The Bonsai Kitten web site is a joke, not an actual promotion for the making of bonsai kittens. Investigations by law enforcement agencies have already determined that no real cats were harmed in the creation of the pictures used on the Bonsai Kitten web site. Signing a petition to shut down the Bonsai Kitten web site will not prevent any kittens from being harmed, because no kittens were harmed in the first place.

(How could you know this? Because the process described is impossible: Animals so treated would die long before they could be "molded." Because the web site offers no way to purchase the materials advertised. Because "Bonsai Kitten" displays no actual pictures of molded kittens.)

yes, I missed that part (oops!) but the thing about the signatures was to shut down the website itself.

I think that's funny. A kitten, being its curious self, crawls into a jar and its owner takes a picture and advertises it as something heinous. I don't know what is more humerous, the actual advertisement or the fact that some people take it seriously.

And, speaking of humerous, Airlinelover has a serious screw loose. While I am not adverse to harsh penalties for animal cruelty, advocating that someone be "drug into the street and SHOT" over what he acknowledges to be a joke shows some very misplaced priorities. Let's get something straight, here in the civilized world (i.e., not China) we do not drag people out into the street and shoot them. We hire an incompetent narcoleptic lawyer to defend them, sentence them to death, and then about 15 years later shove a needle in their arm and inject enough chemicals to bring down a horse. But under no circumstances should we drag them into the street to be shot. Jeez

I get pretty incensed over any site like this. But free-speech is free speech. It's pretty obvious to me that some of the letters posted there are also forgeries.

If you take a good look at the pictures, though, it's pretty obvious that they're fakes. Especially the one in which the guy is supposedly putting the kitten in a jar with a shoe horn.

1) If the kitten had been given a muscle relaxant, its eyes would not be open.
2) and the kitten wouldn't be walking into the jar
3) The shoe horn would have to be in the jar. It's clearly being held against the kitten's side, outside the lip of the jar.

Don't get me wrong, it pisses me off to see this kind of stuff. But if you look at it close enough you can see it's a hoax.
