Prices In Prague?

We're planning a trip to Prague this summer with a bunch of friends and i'm just curious to what general things cost there? Like dining out, the cheapest beers, booze etc. A friend of mine was there some years ago and back then he apparently bought beer at some bar for $1 per pint. With swedish standards and our taxes this is really cheap so i'm wondering if the prices tend to be the same today or if they have increased?

Thanks for any input.

I was there this past October. I found everything to be very inexpensive (by American standards, anyway) except for the hotels, which were very expensive (even for "plain" hotels.)

I'm envious...I want to go back!  Smile

I actually found a decent looking hotel pretty cheap, we'll pay about $185 per person for 4 nights, here's a link to it: http://www.easyjethotels.co.uk/info_hotel.jsp?indiceGP=1

I'm really surprised that a hotel like that can be so cheap, it does look really nice. Kitchen and all  Smile

I was in Prague about a year ago and I don't think it's expensive there at all, at least not compared to Sweden. A pint of beer was around 10 kronor.
