The usual question: Who is in the process or will be in the process of getting properly boozed up tonight? And for what reason? Like me, no particular reason or are you going out or perhaps celebrating something special? Share with us!
I'm in the process of deciding whether or not to get beered up tonight, i have nowhere to go or nothing special to do but i never saw a few beers kill anyone so i might aswell just go ahead. Problem would be that i'd need to rush to the liquor store after work. Ah, what the heck.

I just came back from the beverage shop with a case of wheat beer and put the bottles into my fridge, I will start drinking in approximately 6 hours when the stuff is really cold. The reason to get drunken tonight: None, just for fun!
I already installed the following sign on my door:

I´ll try not to carry it to extremes tonight as tomorrow I have to be fresh and awake when I´m visiting the harbour anniversary celebrations in Hamburg which will traditionally end in a complete mess for me

Quoting Sabena332 (Reply 10): I can't start now, I have to drive my girlfriend to the airport at ~19h. Till the evening I have to stick to Fanta Tropical Orange.
Say what you want kirk but that is a viable excuse, no? In fact excuses like that are the only excuses not to drink Things like "I dont want to" or "I dont like beer so i drink Tropical Fanta instead" dont exist, at least not in my world.

I celebrated Cinco De Mayo, 2 friends and I bought a handle of Cuervo. Whew, 12 shots (we polished off the bottle). I'm at work today...I feel like Rocky Balboa in the last round of part IV...I'm somehow standing, but I don't know how...and I got to work on time...

Me and my buddy Jim Beam will be at it later this evening. One of my son's team-mates' dad is in a band, playing at a bar near the house this evening. I told him he had to leave my name at the door so I won't have to pay a cover charge. (leaves more money for the booze)
What, so late? I got out of one of final exams at about 11am last week, and immediately went to the bar for a pint. As I was finishing up, I asked the bartender if it was too early for vodka to which she thankfully replied, "It's never too early for vodka" So I decided to say a little longer....

Tsk, tsk. You youngsters, all you think about is beer and sex - and rarely do the two go together.
You should be more disciplined, more strong and say NO to beer, NO to loose women. Drink herbal tea and fart like a lavender bush. No need to worry about an air freshener in the toilet then!
I myself, being of an age, will perhaps celebrate my last night of freedom ( the Dragon returns from New York tomorrow) with a small Malt whisky or three in the local hostelry, The Glue Pot in downtown Castletown. Sandwiched between the castle and the harbour, it is a delightful watering hole (emphasis on the hole!)
So, think non-alcoholic chaps, think study and contemplation and above all think - F*** that, I'm gonna get pissed and laid!!!!!!!!!!!!
