Hi folks

I'm sure many an artist has put airplanes on either their CD covers or song clips. For example, there is a French singer, etienne Daho who had a 747 on one of his CD covers

which other artist can you think of who used an airplane on a CD cover or clip ?

There is/was a band called Jets To Brazil. Doesn't the Beastie Boys have an album with an airplane on the cover? I'm too lazy to go dig it up right now. Big grin

They had the tail end of a 727.

I can't think of any covers, but here are some clips....

U2: Beautiful Day (CDG)
Foo Fighters: Learn to Fly (one of the funniest videos you'll ever see)
Cathy Dennis: Too Many Walls (a few shots of BA and LHR)

I'm sure there are many more, but I've only had one cup of coffee so I can't think right yet.

I have this CD that I bought in 1996 in England. It had a Convair 990 landing at Kai Tak on the cover. It wasn't a good CD, hense the reason I can't remember who the group is.

There was this one CD I saw with a cover of what seemed to be a 747 diagram with escape slides as seen in a safety card. Forgot the title and artist.

The only one I have in my collection with an aircraft on it. But I bought it for the music, not the cover.  Smile Back when I could listen to techno.

On Yahoo! Music Videos, I was browsing when I came across this older song, from the late 70s or early 80s, and it featured all these clips of planes and cars.

Neil Young made an album called "Landing on Water" which showed a safety card image of a plane floating with rafts deployed.

Van Halen has a song called "Dreams" (from the album 5150) and in the music video for that song is the Blue Angels. They perform one of their show flights throughout the whole video.
