It seems that every topic that I start (and those that I've previously started) have shown up in bold (in the Tech/Ops section).

Is this a new feature or is something wrong with my browser?

I believe it's a new feature, since it's happening on my computer too. Also, when you go to type a message, your username is already in the "username" box.

It is to make your posts more easy to find.
