I have my 6 day break from work coming up (I get 6 days off every 8 weeks) starting at the end of next week. Anyone want to get together for a photo shoot, preferably at SJC? I can drive up via a stop in Fresno. Maybe if I can get together with someone, we all can caravan to SFO.
I figured I have a few "Bay Area" buddies here, namely Superfly, Rotate777, and FlyGGA.

I am all up for it!
Let's not forget:
DeltaSFO, ILUV767, Imkeww, Hugo, El Premier, Ray Chuang, Aviglator, MichaelSFO, IloveA340, OH-LGW, D L X and a few others I can't think of right now.
RealHigh has flaked on the gatherings three times!
Maybe because I was there.
When you are up, I can maybe show you some cool record stores and even vintage stereo shops. The Sound Well in Berkeley is awsome!

Wish I could be there; it'd be too cool to throw out a political question and watch the fur fly!
But seriously, I don't know whether the spotting, the food (I'll take Chinese, thanks) or the old stereos and records, sounds most appealing.
Take pictures (clothes on, only, if you please).

Matt D, your gonna cum up here in San Francisco?
Interesting.
It all depends which weekend it will be if I can make it or not.

Matt,
When are you thinking of doing this? Because I am thinking about doing a short milieage run and heading out to SJC on Aug 11-12 to take advantage of United's double miles offer. I was just going to hang at the airport pretty much all day. If you guys are going to be there at that time then even better, I'll hang with you guys. Post some days/dates when you get the chance.

Depending on the time and day I might be abe to show up. I'd be up for a meet at SFO simply because it is much closer to my house, but it would most likely be worth the drive down to SJC if that is where every one else wants to go.

OH-LGA, OH-LGA Superfly! But I'll forgive you... this time
I'd love to, but I'm half a world away in Europe (Finland) currently... I won't be back until July 26th late at night... but at least I get to do some flying eh? BASA will supposedly be hosting another gathering sometime in the near future, but you'll have to ask our trusty president about that...

Here are my proposals:
Option A:
Sunday, July 22nd:
SJC 7AM-top level of parking garage overlooking WN/AA terminal...beautiful AM shots available. Then at 9AM or so when the sun gets too high to shoot pix from there, we all go and raise hell at a local restaraunt for breakfast.
Option B:
Sunday, July 22nd
SJC 2PM at corner of Airport Dr and Coleman Ave at the CSU parking lot-at the little picnic table in the grassy area. We all meet, then go raise hell for lunch at a local restaraunt, then return to get some afternoon pix.

Well, I'm "up" for a meeting at SJC, but I think the chances of me getting there at 7AM are roughly equal to that of twin lightning bolts striking down Strom Thurmond and Jesse Helms simultaneously.
Oh wait, I'm not supposed to bring up matters of politics...

You mean to tell me that you don't want to see my "handiwork" with the (usually incompetent) waitresses first hand?
If you were to see that while ypu and I were dining together, that would give you 6 months worth of posting material!

Dude will you stop saying I am RealHigh!
That is not me for the last time. A few other forum members have met Ms. High BTW. FYI, me and RealHigh hung out a few times and there was a little confusion about our friendship. In otherwords, I have a girlfriend already! This goes back way before you even started coming to this web-site!

Can some one give me directions to where we are meeting once I exit 880. I tried to figure out where the meeting is from mapquest, but failed miserably. From the map I looked on it looks like coleman ave intersects 880, but I have only been to SJC a few times and don't know my way around down there all that well.
25 Superfly: Matt D: So fill us all in on the details of the gathereing. Who all is attending so far? I'll be coming in on Amtrack which isn't too far from the air
26 ILUV767: I'll try to be there. It depends on if I can spend time away from my soon to be girl friend. She is comming in from BOS the night before, and we havnt
27 Matt D: There seems to be some confusion with where the meeting is to take place. Maybe I'm just having a hard time describing the location. But for all of yo
28 EIPremier: OK...well, hopefully a few people will show up for this. So, the meeting time is 2PM at the corner of Airport BLVD and Coleman Ave, correct? I'll prob
29 Aa737: Looks like the chances of me showing up are small now, some family came to the area from ou of town and I will probably be with them all day.
30 SFOintern: Wish I could but can't so I won't. Tell me how it is! Kind regards, SFOintern (formerly imkeww)
31 EIPremier: Sorry to do an about-face, but I don't think I'll be able to come. I just received an e-mail from my flute teacher informing me that she has to sub fo
