For those of you who have been following the "Wendy's Chili" finger story, here is the latest.

The police have discovered the source of the finger. It belonged to a coworker of the husband of the woman who bit down on it. He had lost it in an industrial accident in December.

Anna Ayala, claimed that while having a bowl of chili at the Wendy's resturant she bit down on the finger that had been cooked inside of it. Wendy's lost a lot of buisness during the resultant national publicity.

She attempted to sue the franchise but dropped her suit as soon police searched he home and named her a suspect in this fraud.

How low does a person have to be that they would actually sit there and plan this stuff out! WTF?!?!? I think Wendy's should sue her for lost revenue over this case.

What I want to know is who keeps a finger around for several months after it gets cut off?

And I thought MY family was weird. What a bunch of freaks.

If she had any dough worth suing for she wouldn't be thinking up ways to sue Wendys.  Smile

True, but Wendy's should rake her over the coals. Even if the judge awards Wendy's $1, it would still be worth it. She would have to shell out $$$ for an attorney.

But, then, she may end up suing Taco Bell after she "finds" a toe in her taco...

GO CANUCKS!!

This reminds me of the movie Alfred Hitchcock's "Hitchhike" -- in that movie, inside highway restaurant, lady had french fries but one fry resembled a finger -- she picked it up and almost ate it!

Wendys won't sue. Somebody would make a big deal out of a big corporation going after a poor woman. Besides if they sue it will stay in the news, and Wendys wants this out of the news ASAP.

Let the criminal courts handle it.

Nah, she could just declare bankruptcy and Wendy's wouldn't get anything out of her, other than the thought that he credit will be f'ed up for the better part of the next decade.

Wow, this woman must really be desperate. If she wanted to get the money an easier way, she should have sent her kid to Neverland Ranch. That would have paid of 10x what she would have gotten from Wendy's.

It sounded like the guy lost the finger in an accident at the plant where they make the chilli. As for the women, there is nothing worse than people who look for ways to sue for their own stupidity. Most of the time these people are unemployed minorities.

Or are uneducated people posting things about which they have no clue!!

The finger came from a friend of a friend of a friend who had nothing to do with Wendy's or it's vendors...LOOK before you post!!  footinmouth
