The Cherokee Indians continue to deny that Adolph Hitler *ahem* I mean Ward Churchill is in any way shape or form Native American.

"The statement, posted Tuesday on the tribe's Web site, didn't mince words: "All of Churchill's past, present and future claims or assertions of Keetoowah 'enrollment,' written or spoken, including but not limited to biographies, curriculum vitae, lectures, applications for employment, or any other reference not listed herein are deemed fraudulent by the United Keetoowah Band, and should be respected by all media, government and private institutions to be so." Yes, when someone says "Churchill", this bloke is possibly not the one most would think about...  Wink

He's the University of Colorado charlatan who called all the victims of 9-11 Little Eichmans....and that's some of the least offensive stuff he's done. Nice to know my taxes go towards his salary. Nevermind the fact that he plagiarizes like it's his job and all Native Americans disavow ever knowing him. I'd like to nominate for a suicide bombing in Syria.

Who actually may have had some American Indian ancestry, through his mother's side of the family, although this is in some doubt.

Unlike the Colorado fraud... His Native American tribe? I'm thinking one of the modern tribes, more likely seen at your local malls. You know, the Hoochahoes and the Trampaskanks.

He's an ethnic studies professor at my "esteemed" university, who's causing a s***load of trouble all over the country over a controversial essay he wrote, which then snowballed into a whole bunch of other controversies...

Come to think of it, when someone says Indian, except for those in America who haven't yet heard the latest about Columbus's trip, it means something else  Wink

Obviously you haven't read the article...allow me to quote:

---------------
What Churchill did is different from plagiarism. He gave Coulter and the other authors, Rudolph C. Ryser and Elizabeth Cook-Lynn, credit for writing the essays he published. He just didn't give them notification that he was going to do it.

"He hasn't tried to pass it off as his own, so it's not plagiarism," Laff said. "It's pure copyright infringement."
--------------------

Still not appropriate but definitely not plagiarism...
