What are you doing for Memorial Day Weekend? ...Subtitled, do you have any suggestions as to what to do? A few airline friends and I are trying to go somewhere exotic and we have two requirements:
1) No visas required
2) There needs to be a good chance of getting a seat on said flight(s)
We're all in Denver so getting to a international departure city might be the toughest part. ...And BA/LH are booked solid out of here. The top contenders now are anywhere QF flies, Barcelona or Madrid, Buenos Aires, Guayaquil, Oslo, Dakar, or Taiwan.

My girlfriend is dragging me to her parents house, should be a miserable weekend of utter boredom capped off by a throbbing headache around mid afternoon Saturday. I am presently resisting this but she will probably guilt me into it by Friday afternoon and I will give in because I am a huge pussy.
I don't know what is planned down there, I don't especially care because no matter what it is I would have more fun sitting on my ass here.
Followed by the Coca Cola 600 NASCAR in the evening.
The benefit to having my camper for fishing trips is the satellite dish affixed thereto . Sunday will be a day for fishing early in the morning, Indy mid-morning (Alaska time rememeber), BBQ early afternoon (the morning's catch), and Coca Cola 600 late afternoon. IF I'm still sober after that, I might have to put a line in the water - again

I'm flying to San Diego, CA on Friday morning. 4 day weekend for me. Luckily I got a seat on my flight from ORF-ATL since there were only two seats on the MD88, so I got one. The ATL-SAN flight is almost full, no window seat for me, but I got an aisle seat on the 767-300. The weekend is pretty much spending time with my family. Saturday we're going to Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Sunday we're going to Sea World..It's free becuase military personnel gets in free at any participating Sea World. Monday im helping moving a piano to the house then after that a little chill time, then head to the airport Monday night to catch my redeye back home just in time for work.

Rather tell you about last years weekend: renting a pop-up camper to tow behind my antique truck and explore the UP of Michigan. This weekend I will be selling appliances at Sears. What a difference a year makes, but at least I am working

The same exact things I do every weekend during this time of year:
1) mow the front yard
2) pull up stray crab grass in the front yard
3) edge and weedeat the front yard
4) leaf blow the driveway and sidewalk in the front yard
5) weedeat the back yard
6) mow the backyard
7) that evening, water both yards if no recent rain (which these days is the case)
Exciting stuff, eh?!

On Saturday I'm going to the Orioles game vs. Detroit (go O's!), then am spending Sunday with friends, doing some backyard grilling, and plan on spending Monday bitching about having to go to work on Tuesday. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
