Do You Read In The WC?

OK, it's Sunday evening and I just came back from a big family dinner, where I drank some beers and a few cubas (rum and coke). So I thought that I'd start a different kind of thread. Different, at least, of the ones I use to start or post in.

The question is self explanatory. When you use the crapper, do you like to read? If so, what you read? I read the newspaper (Reforma, if you have to know) and a good novel once in a while.

What about you guys?

A good book called "The nets stranges things" Loads of stuff found on the net and alot of it is weird and strange, and somtimes not toilet reading (one thing beign a guy how dislocates his hip, and crying in agony on a fottie pitch, then having it set to scream even louder as a certain something was lodged in there at the time) VERY PAINFUL

I read whatever I can get my hands on. Most depressing thing in the world is when you go take a crap and realize you forgot your reading material.  Sad

I share a bathroom with my sister, so there are lots of magazines.... I can look at People or Cosmo courtesy of her, or I read Car and Driver / Road & Track / Automobile courtesy of ME.

I haven't in a long time, since my bathroom is about a 90 second walk down the hall, but some people do and I think it's a bit strange, but when I'm at home I do.

There is absolutely no better reading material for the crapper than one Charles Bukowski.

Try it. You'll never look back.

I read the backs of cereal boxes. I figure since I'm just sitting there, I might as well save a little time by eating breakfast, too.

cubas (rum and coke)

I hope there was a lime in the equation.

Personally I like to get in, get my business done, wash my hands and move on to other things.
At one point I had a palm pilot and used to play the submarine game, but the only thing diferent in the result of the situation was my legs would be sore/asleep when I was done.

Sometimes I do. Airways magazine is perhaps my favorite reading material in the potty, though I should better study.

hahahaha This thread came just on time!! Right now i'm visiting some family here in Brazil, and I have this cousin ( which in this same moment) is locked up in the bathroom reading. He spends one hour inside... seriously, it's not a joke!
I was actually wondering why does he do this cuz i wanted to go to the bathroom some moments ago and I had to go to another one.
Personally I can't keep sitting there and read. Only if I have a test and I can't stop studying, I take my notes and stuff to the bathroom.

If I had the bad luck of living with you and I find out I would never eat cereal again... hahahahaha  Wink

A cousin, likely a young guy in your age age and you're wondering what he does in there for an hour.

If he is reading it sure ain't the type of reading you think he is doing.

What a weird topic.

Ha, ha, ha... you're not going to believe this.

I have WiFi in my house, and can take the laptop and surf the web while doing the business. Multi-tasking in the modern age.

I grab whatever newspaper I have lying around, mostly the Boston Globe right now, since I'm up north.

Now, despite me having WiFi, I mainly use it so I can be lazy at night and watch baseball on my laptop (thank you mlb.tv) while either eating my dinner (only get Red Sox games here...no Yankees or Dodgers) or while getting ready to sleep (hey, the laptop works just like a regular TV here).
