Niagara Falls, Ontario by car, which, if you can believe it, I prefer to flying! To paraphrase Groucho, I wouldn't fly in any airplane that would have me at the controls. But I love long distance driving.
In September we plan to fly to Vancouver, most likely on an AC A319/20/21.

My In-Laws rent a condo on the beach, and they, my family, and my brother-in-laws family all go for a week. Because of my work, I just stay for an odd day or two.
So my vacation, is the fact I have the whole house and pool to myself for a week!
If you don't stand for SOMETHING, you'll fall for ANYTHING.

I am glad to go down to Florida, but it is so hot in NYC (In the mid 80's today) I can only wonder what South FLorida is like. I am going to my grandparents house (alone!) and I get to go to Golf Camp down there!

September 4th I and my son fly IOM-LGW - BA4321, BAe146. Stay overnight and the following day meet my wife and fly to SLC via ATL on DL. 767 both sectors.
Returning September 14th, DL 757 SLC-ATL, then DL 767 ATL-LGW followed by boring old BA4326, BAe146 LGW-IOM
Mini holiday in AMS before that - June 29th-1st July, on my own, spotting!!

I'm spending a week in South Africa, and I'm leaving tomorrow - flying SAA (A340-600, B737-800) to Cape Town via Johannesburg, and Thursday next week I'll be flying the same route back, that time on an A319 and A340-600.
Might also make one or two other trips this year - but haven't fixed any of those yet.

Going to SEA in September (still don't know the exact dates). Will most probably be flying QF, ADL-SYD-LAX-SEA, the same route back. Looking forward to that
Also, going to New Zealand next month (just for 5 days, to AKL, visiting friends). Will be flying QF B738 to SYD then a 763 to AKL I guess....

Early plans for our summer holidays will see us leave SYD on 27/28 Dec for VIE, most likely flying QF(B743) to NRT then SK Business class to CPH(A343) & VIE(MD87?). Then a 10 day bus tour to BUD, PRG, WAW, Berlin, MUC & back to VIE. Then off to VCE & the Vento, most likley by train, for 10 days to visit wifes relatives, then to MXP to CPH SK (MD87?), then SK (A343) to NRT, a coupla days in Toyko, then home on QF (B743) about 23 Jan for back to work on 27 Jan.
Routing may change but SKs mixed class fare looks like it will win again!

To NYC with my partner and two friends. Will be flying AA 777-200 LHR-JFK and return.
Still planning our holidays for later in the year. Maybe to Cyprus when we get the bathroom re-built (with a quick trip to Egypt on the boat from Limassol?).
Possibly LA to visit friends at the end of the year and perhaps drive up the coast to San Fran.
More likely is that I will tack a few days leisure on to my long delayed work trip to South Africa next month (it was going to be March, then April, etc, etc). As it seems work will take me to JNB, CPT and DUR, it'd be rude not to see afew things while I'm there. Also the clinet loves me lots and wants to arrange loads of leisure trips for me
If so it'll be a SAA 747-400 out of LHR and then various SAA A320s/737s between the cities once there I guess.
Just when I thought I could see light at the end of the tunnel, it was some B*****d with a torch bringing me more work

Living in Milan, I'm very close to the Mediterranean where our family has a small summer flat, so we go there most weekends. There is no reason to fly although it would be possible I guess, but it would mean flying into Nice and driving or training back to our place in Italy, back over the border. That would be silly, so we just drive. It takes three or four hours depending on traffic.

New Zealand has just had a holiday (Queens Birthday, monday 6th) 3 day weekend, so I took the friday off work and headed to Taupo and Rotorua by car for the long weekend.
Next holiday will be in July will be 'up the road' to Palmerston North and then onto the Hawkes Bay. Again by car
After that flying Freedom Air (SJ) from WLG-OOG. Then OOG to either SYD or MEL then fly back to either CHC or Palmerston North again on Freedom Air. This Australian holiday is because I won a return trip to any Australian port on Freedom Air
