As the topic title says, I swallowed a tiny piece of aluminum foil. I was wolfing down a Toblerone bar, and as I was breaking off pieces of this yummy chocolate for consumption I didn't check for any tiny scraps of aluminum foil that may have stayed with the chocolate rather than get ripped away. I know this since I felt it in my mouth and alas, too late, swallowed it.

So yeah, I am pretty bored right now...so I thought I'd share it with you and bring up a good question...what Bizarre things have the members of A.net swallowed over the course of a lifetime?

Don't get into a microwave oven with tin foil in your body - you never know what might happen!

Slightly off topic, but I've been told that if you have amalgam fillings and chew on aluminum foil, the results will be very painful. Anyone ever munch on foil and find out?

Yup, def. a metal foil...that distinctive crinkly yet smooth texture and the hint of metallic taste. Ok, so I've put foil in my mouth before...this is the first time I've swallowed it.

I was sitting across from my wife at a picnic table. I was talking and she was being annoyed by a fly. I was was mid-stream on a word when she swatted the fly to the back of my throat...gulp...

When I was 2 years old, I picked up a snail off the ground and tried to eat it. Have it all on video too.

On a more recent note, in my freshman year of high school, me and some buddies decided to find out who could eat the most disgusting combo of food. I ate a bowl that consisted of: horse radish, two week old McDonald's maple syrup, warm mayonnaise (dangerous), flat 7Up, relish, and egg nog. Lol I took a mouth full of it, and couldn't even swallow it, let alone hold it in my mouth. I never knew I had such powerful gag reflexes Big grin I can still taste the taste to this date.

It will either be paased, or it will get stuck in your appendix. If it's just a tiny bit, I'm sure you are okay.

I have asthma, and a couple of years ago I needed a hit on my asthma bong at work. There was a penny in the apparatus and it shot into my throat. All of my asshole co-workers got a good laugh out of my self-heimlich. I got it out of my wind pipe and then swallowed it. I watched for it to pass, but I never saw it again.

If you are really concerned about Illuminati and the NWO, it would probably be easier to just make a tinfoil hat than to actually eat the stuff  Wink

Wasn`t aluminium linked to Alsheimer? Scientists assume a connection between the use of aluminum (e.g. Foil or pots) and Alsheimer.

Well not sure if this little chunk of foil has passed or not...I personally don't feel like digging through my crap to find out...definately gonna avoid microwaves from about 24 hrs though.  Silly

But of course, as I post this, I "dropped chaff" about half an hour ago...so maybe it passed.  Silly

Alzheimer's? Yikes. Then again, college students seem to go through a phase of self-imposed Alzheimer's anyway...so this foil probably won't do much to me.  Wink

The "link" between Alzheimer's and Aluminium was discredited (i.e., there is no longer thought to be credible evidence of a link between the two). Not to say that this will not change again in the future, so keep eating blueberries along with the Aluminium foil.  Smile
