Water skiing, Texas, 4th of July 1980. Girfriend's parents were driving boat, and I was attempting to get up and ski. Lower drive in boat breaks, and I crash into water. Girlfriend jumps off boat, swimming back to me w/life preserver, and we float along behind the boat about 10 yards back. She suggests we "make good use of this quality time". Parents would holler back every few minutes asking "How are ya'll doing?"
"Just Fine!" was the usual breathless reply.....
If you don't stand for SOMETHING, you'll fall for ANYTHING.

(my gf did not bother to put on certain pieces of clothing and as seats were not reclinable, the dashboard was the only place to rest your feet.....imagine)
I had chosen a very quiet spot, 5m from the main gate of the Air Force barracks.
Lesson learned....do not do it on a Monday early morning if you are not absolutely aware of the location.

They didn't "let" me out. But I guess the best place I've knocked boots in was an unlocked senators office in the Texas state capitol. We had missed the last tour, but they told us we could have free range of the place. So after roaming the tunnels and what not, we found an open legislators office and had a jolly good time.
