Rhaa ! I just came home from my girlfriend's with the intent of getting a nice night of sleep (quite hard these days thanks to the 28 deg temperature here.
Well, it appears the 'fete de la musique' 'concerts' are quite loud in my neighbouroud. Thanks to them, I'll have a noisy night, and if I want to dampen the noise ? Oh well, keep the windows closed (and the heat in obviously).
Thank you, Mr Jack Lang for this wonderful invention of yours, imposing nightly noise to everybody in one of the hottest nights of the year.

Ben, y suffit de se mettre les boules voyons ! (cf. Gaston Lagaffe)
If you do not appreciate la joie de vivre (en musique), this marvelous French invention (wax/cotton ear plugs) privides an average 27dB acoustic isolation see http://www.quies.com/produits.htm

What's the difference, your neighbours are the fête de la musique at 7AM every morning anyways...

Lol.
Quoting Superfly (Reply 5): 28 degrees, all of them centigrades, and (good) music?
Why are you in bed sleeping?
keyword is 'good'. The 'music' in my neighbourhoud was nowhere near good. Mostly loud noise a few lightyears away from the slightest trace of harmony.
As for sleeping, well, I had a long week end (LBG, guests), got up early yesterday (went to fetch my girlfriend at CDG from her redeye), and needed to get up not too late this morning as well (some people do work).

Yeah, I love my neighbours... but usually, at 7 AM, I am already awake (though i dislike it in the week ends.... if I am at my place then, which is almost never )
Quoting UTA_flyinghigh (Reply 6): Since I have heard what your "singing" sounds like, I say it was high time you got a dose of your own medicine
I admit that, Will, but I do not impose my music on a whole city at night time.
What would you say if you were in bed with Utaette, and somebody opened the door, or the window, or whatever, a cigarette in the mouth, and blowed smoke (tobacco, not pot !) in your face for hours without you being able to stop it ?
