All I know is it has been widely popular in the UK/Eire but the people behind it are currently being investigated as the whole thing is suspected of being a major scam.
Your thoughts ?

I hate the thing. I was in the post office a few days and the lady in front of me had it as her ringtone. I nearly took her phone off her and smashed the bloody thing.

It is so f*ckin' annoying! It used to be everywhere here, but I haven't seen it around nowadays. Thank God! I was going nuts....I personally want to kill that a**hole who conjured it up in the first place

Scamming consumers is cheating them out of money. Fortunately, Crazy hasn't been so popular in the U.S.

Hate it.
Sadly, its so popular here that 2 differet remixes of it have been released, along with several similarly annoying ringtone like Sweet Chick and Nessie the Dragon. Crazy Frog has also been released as a single - and was number 1 in the charts for 4 weeks! It has finally slipped to number two - thank god. Radio 1 refused to play it on most shows!

Tow away with this damn frog... It is as annoying as "sweety" or "Schnappi" were (at least here in Germany). It's simply everywhere, on A.net, on TV on the homepage of my mail provider and so on.....
I tend to say that it's even worse then "sweety"!

Horrible thing. Sound was funny when some swede used the audio part to go with a formula 1 car photo under the so called "insanity test". If you could look at the video for 30 sec without laughing you passed. (At least that is how I remember it.)
So anyway, this company ripped him off by using the audio for this frog ringtone. There has been talk of a legal action for some time now. I hope he sues them, and they go bankrupt. As for the frog...
Burn him!

Yes, that is indeed how I for the first time saw it, with the formula 1 car, and I was ROTFLMAO, but now it's just soooo annoying

When I heared the advertising on TV the first time, I said "fuck, that song existed a long time ago in a funny flash movie, what a rip!"

Quoting Solnabo (Reply 21): If I met this retarded swede I´ll kick his a**......
He makes LOAAADS of ££$$$££$£$$£$$€€€€€€€, that git!
Actually he isn't making a swedish krone. The company which created crazy frog and used that particular "tune" use and sell it without this swede's permission. I think the company is called Jaffa or Jabba or something. Anyway, that swedish guy will get a nice pile of cash if he wins the case in court.
Dirty money though.

26 Senorcarnival: It's still funny when viewed sparingly in the "insanity test" context, but for the rest of the world who is submitted to that sound every few minutes
27 Aloges: I'll tell you tomorrow after cutting open that frog (or toad) in cell physiology practice.
