Hello,
I thought it would be interesting to ask you all...What is the most famous thing you've done in this world, that's not bad? It can be something that helped people, something that bought you lots of recognition, etc. Something good you did that got a lot of peoples attention.
Personally...the thing that's giving me the most recognition is that I am writing music for a Public Access TV show here in Boise, Idaho.

Was with my Boy Scout troop at the Ape Caves in Eastern Washington years ago. (Maybe 7-8 years ago?), and witnessed a woman fall from 75 feet up while repelling down a cliff face. Double-compound fracture (yes, that means bones sticking out...) in one of her ankles. We immobilized her leg and prepped for transport while another group ran the 2 miles out to the road to call for help. I was on the carry-team that hauled her out and transported her to a site where the helicopter could get in, as this is a very remote, mountainous area that was difficult to access.
Once she got to the hospital, she found out she was 6 weeks pregnant.. So yeah, that's about my only claim to fame. The Boy Scouts of Troop 410, Green River District, Chief Seattle Council. We made the cover of the local paper... but that's about it.

I don't like to bolst about doing something people SHOULD DO regardless.
I can remember finding a purse on a bench in a subway (pre- 9/11).
I looked through it and found the owners identification.
I took it home and called information and fortunatley the old lady who owned it had a listed phone number and I got in contact with her.
The poor old lady (approx 75) was in tears when I gave her purse to her.
Another time was a few months ago, I found a cellphone on the ground in front of my place. I called the most recently called number and told them that I found there friend's phone.
Turned out it was my neighbor's cellphone.
They have been real nice to me. Giving me wine, chocolates and even gift certificate to there family's Chinese restaurant.

- I once helped a family that climbed onto a huge rock on a beach and was trapped there as the tide rose in (though it was in Chile it was in a bay/sound where the pacific tide jumps in sudden and high).
- In my early days when I had when I had some sort of asthma I think I saved a girls life when she had an asthma attack but had forgotten her spray. I handed her mine and seconds later she felt much better. It was a big scale party and she was drunk, I just walked away and only got aware of the situation the next day.
- A design of mine was exhibited in an architectural exhibition in my Universities hometown and Berlin.
- Having given my girlfriend her first ever g-spot orgasm (She spoke about that even days later)
And many small things that add up to myself not feeling complete useless in this world.
