Oh boy...TS Emily is headed right in my direction...looking at the future track, it appears to be 6-7 days out of the Miami area...I'm speechless right now...I really don't know what to say.

Maybe if you track the storm enough, it will stay away from you.  Wink

You seem to have a fixation on objects with a female name...

How do you actually know for sure that something 6-7 days a way is a sure thing to hit you?...

Go get a date.

Worry about when it's actually tracking your way, the 5 day forecast barely has it to Haiti.

My God people calm down about the damn hurricanes.

You mean, like half of Anet has with female members?  Big grin

Sure hope a Hurricane never gets the name "Kaz" or "Phyllis", or this site'll go bonkers.

I hope Emily will finally hit Virginia Beach, VA this time...man, it's been a bit over a month since I last surfed the Atlantic Ocean here. I'm tired of seeing the 1-2 ft. waves here in the summer.

Hurricane Emily is out in the Caribbean Sea, still 5 or so days away from affecting Texas, but the latest projections call for it to make landfall between the northern part of Mexico and Houston. Currently 375 miles SSE of SDQ, moving WNW at 20 mph. Pressure is 957mb.

Looks like it could strengthen a good amount before it makes landfall. Jamaica and the Yucatan Peninsula are also in the direct path of the storm and could take some brutal hits. What do y'all think?
