Can anyone tell me if it's possible to buy a beer onboard a Virgin trains service? I shall be travelling down from Carlisle to Preston next wednesday for the Mega Preston meet  Silly And I think I shall require a beverage of the alcoholic kind.
And has anyone travelled on a Virgin train before, what they like? I'm only used to the wee Scotrail trains

I'm sure they'll let you have a can of Top Deck if you ask them very nicely, Kirkie. Big grin

Har har. Surprisingly it will take 1 hrs 30 mins (with a 20 min stop in Penrith I think) to get to deepest southern England  Wow!

Probably not. Mentally, he's not even old enough to drink it.

Aye, I see that there's a shop onboard both the Voyager and the Pendolino.
Alex was moaning yesterday because he got another Voyager train up to Glasgow via Edinburgh(!!!)  Silly

Sorry to worry you Kirkie, but aren't Virgin Trains the ones that always break down or are cancelled....?  Wink
