I'm watching coverage of the British Open and Jack just took jis final walk over the bridge on 18. He paused to acknowledge the crowd that was giving him a very moving ovation. I then felt a tear giong down my cheek.

For golfers everywhere, this is an incredible moment.

He just birdied the 18th. He went out in style.

We'll miss you Jack! Long live the Golden Bear!

Count me in the Sap's Club then too...

Truly a timeless champion for the ages, a true gentleman, competitor and man who has contributed so much to the game.

Thanks Jack!

I'll join up, as well.

I had a chance to walk 18 holes with him during a practice round for the Compaq Classic here 3-odd years ago. He was most gracious, signing numerous autographs, posing for pictures, etc, etc. Quite a thrill as I was able to check that off my life's to-do list.

I'll also echo my appreciation for what he has brought to the game, and for what he still contributes to the game.
