Hi everone. This september, I will be movint to London for a months time, just next to Heathrow Airport. Will be fun to go spotting there, but of course, my camera, laptop, or mobile phones and so will need power. I was wondering: what do the plugs look like there? I had trouble pluging my electronic devices in Portugal for instance. Any picture of a plug? Big grin Thanks a lot!

A Plug. BTW The question to this thread takes 2 seconds to check on google. So pointless.

You're right. In fact I don't think I will ever start a topic again. I will go to other sources. I am fairly certain that Google won't bitch every time I search for something. As for Pipo, perhaps he favors interpersonal communication, but I can do without it.

Yes, I am for interpersonal communication, otherwise I wouldn't be on those forums. Why I post here is that there are people from all over the world, and actually there are also some from the UK, and I want to be sure. Maybe you know that a LOT of information is inaccurate or out of date on the net. The non-aviation is here for that isn't it? (...)

Quoting 7FTwinOtter (Reply 1):

Thanks for your answer. I guess I can find adapters for that! Cheers

This is really easy. Here in Switzerland you get adapters for plugs all over the world in almost any store which sells electric items.

Go to your local electronics, appliance or travel/luggage store for adapters/converters. You might find some kits at duty free or airport shops. Probably about EUR 25 for a kit that will let use electrical plugs and service all over the world.

But make sure nothing happens to it. I brought my laptop along to the states and the plug adapter broke. It was hell for two days, till I could find another one.

Hey look, there is an asshole on the board. You go on google and ask all the questions you want dick. You deal with the spyware they dump onto your system.

The whole point of this board in Non Av is to ask questions that do not pertain to aviation. He did the right thing.

Where did everybody go?

interpersonal communication? This is the same thing as google. You type and you read, except here you argue with people such as yourself. Im not sure if you know what physically meeting a person means, or what a telephone line is.

Why are you getting worked up over one comment? Calm down, i only stated that there is such a thing as BANDWITH wastes.

Quoting EmiratesA345 (Reply 15):

You know why I love comments like that? Because people like you will never say that to my face. But I guess thats ok, but oh wait EmiratesA345 I guess the chick you were with was too skinny for you hehe  Silly

Let me bring up a post where you made a total douche of yourself and after that one I cant take you seriously, and frankly no one else should.

Like I said, getting worked up over a comment like this is dumb. Realize that all I meant by this was that I thought this question was better suited for him to move his mouse over to his URL bar and search for it, hence it would have been much quicker too!

Google gives you automatically computer generated results. There is nothing interpersonal about communicating with a machine.

Obviously we have.

We know that's what you meant, but that isn't how you said it. Seeing as you are Polish and I am American, I will give you the benefit of the doubt in assuning that there is a language barrier.

What does this have to do with anything? When i want to know an answer to a simple question i want to know fast, not linger around.

Seeing as I've been living in this country since for over 12 years (being able to spell assuming) and speak plus comprehend English better than 99% of people in this country (Judging from my reading comprehension scores on my ACT test) I doubt theres any language barriers. Then again, you try to speak 3 languages fluently, of which 2 perfectly. Its a hassle hehe (Damn French)

This is such a pointless argument...at 5:25am at that too.

There you go with pointless again. If it were pointless(subjunctive used for Logan22L Big grin ), then I wouldn't have said anything. I thought your original statement was rude.

So maybe it is just a misunderstanding/miscommunication between all of us and you. Nonetheless, lets move on and all be friends.
