I was just surfing channels and landed on CSPAN2. Joe Lieberman is speaking and he seems to have grown his beard out and it looks AWFUL! It's all white.....Anybody have any idea why he did this?

His mother died about two weeks ago and he is in Mourning, I forget the Hebrew term. I know most Jewish men when they lose a loved one like their Mother will grow beards as a display of their grieving.
