OK as you may have noticed, I am not particularly busy at work today so I was wondering which smiley is your favourite. Mine would have to be the Big grin because it's SO me. I've discussed this with fellow a.netters and they agree! I've even been dubbed "Moe the grinner"!

...and regarding new smiley's. I definately think there should be one which rolls with its eyes! So many times I read stuff on a.net and that's exactly how I feel. Would be nice to be able to show that  bigthumbsup

Ok I should have added! Your fave smiley has to be one of the existing ones on a.net. Only suggestions for ones in the future can be other smileys (obviously  scratchchin  )

Which one? The headbang person or the waving one? If you mean the latter, I agree with "you can use it for so many things" cus that's true:
-Hello
-Goodbye
-Goonight
-I feel sorry for you, I'm leaving this thread
-I am right and you are wrong... seeya
-Enjoy your ban
...etc....

Like I said before on another post. . . smileys are just SO irritating and the equivalent of canned laughter. And they are getting worse.

Yeah, but it's the closest you will get to body language via a cable.

I miss a few of the old A.net smilies! This one though (the old "Yeah sure" smiley) was my favourite and I request it's return!!

I remember back in the days before minimum text restrictions on posts, if someone posted a really stupid thread just dropping one of those smilies, without a word, was sufficient enough to get the point across. Big grin

I also miss these old a.net smilies:

Now, as for the current smilies!

banghead   bigthumbsup   bouncy   cry  <---- this little guy is so cute!
 hissyfit   scratchchin   stirthepot

spin  always seems to work well and I like  tongue  but never really get the chance to use it...

The one we really need though is one a friend showed me the other day it was 'Sorry your red car got trampled by a blue elephant on christmas day' and was pretty freakin funny.

I´d love to have easy access to decent irony again:

Having to insert actual HTML for it sucks... and the new one is simply inappropriately weak:  Wink
