So, tonite Bundesliga starts! Luckily, www.bundesliga.de has live audio, so I can hear everything about my favorite team Eintracht Frankfurt (who will give Bayern Muenchen a hard time for the championship Big grin )..

so, who do you think will be on the top after the 34th day?

I think Bayern won't, somehow.. I expect a real surprise... unfortunately, i put my cards on Hertha, having a fantastic coach who suits the team ideally.. and I gues sthat my Eintracht team will be around place 12 or so... Duisburg, Bielefeld and Hannover.. bye bye

Btw, if anyone fancies to go to a game.. i might be in germany for some time in September - the DATE OF TEH GAME FRANKFURT - MUENCHEN!!! patick, Frank, Udo, Racko and all others.. are you on board (and want to organize tickets Big grin ) - Patrck and Udo, you can crash at my place, as my mum will be gone and we haveenuff place...

I also think that Bayern will be champion after this season, but I think Stuttgart will also do well.

Only a few minutes left, then is the football free time finally over!!!

Of course am I interested to come to Frankfurt for a weekend to watch the game together with you guys. We could meet in the morning at FRA for a little bit spotting, then going to the stadium and have after the game a few alcoholic drinks.

Patrick

Edit: I can imagine that Daniel (9V-SPF) is interested as well. Then we would have at least another Bayern fan beside me. Big grin

I just looked on bundesliga.de, the game is on September 21st (a Wednesday) at 8 PM. If there will be an A.net meeting to watch the game, I will take two days off to come down to FRA.

So what do you guys think? Anyone up for a meeting to watch the game? Someone would have to organize the tickets as soon as they are buyable, I can imagine that they will be sold out very soon (because Bayern is coming).

Patrick

Edit: There are even cheap flights for the dates in question on shithansa.com.

Well I hope Werder makes it into the CL again. It's gonna be tough, cause once again we have lost the best player (Ismael) so our team has to be reshaped. ONCE AGAIN!  Angry

I really hope Bayern doesn't make it again, it just gets too boring. I wouldn't want Schalke to win it as well, after they bought up half of Werder.
So my hope is with Werder, Stuttgart or Hertha.  Smile

How dare you say that  box  ? Pfft, I'm a medallion member on Delta and have been a supporter of the FC Bayern for around the same time.
Anyway, Bayern will come out on top again, with Stuttgart in second (thanks to Trap's defensive tactic), Schalke in third, followed by Bayer, HSV and Hertha.
And so far, it looks good for Bayern, 3:0 against Gladbach (Hargreaves and Makaay twice) Big grin . Never mind that ridiculoud yellow-red card for Ismael, or the fact that a goal for Bayern was not given due to a player being "offside", or the Gladbach field player playing goal-keeper in the 12th minute.

My predictions... either Hannover 96 or Eintracht Frankfurt will be in the top spot at the end of the season, with the other being second. All other clubs will - obviously - be distant in points from the third onwards, with Bayern just barely not going down into 2nd League...

... wait... whats that strange sound? Oh crap, my alarm clock... I have to wake up now... Big grin

Oh well - I guess I'll be happy if my two favorites stay in the Bundesliga after H96's (I think) fourth season and EF's first in there... would be nice...

As for the tickets - I'll be back in Frankfurt on the 10th (although that'll be too late to get any infos), but I can see what I can do on the 11th. By the way - has anyone checked Eintracht's website to see if there's a possibility to buy tickets online? I think I'll take a look there now...

Which one? The "confuse your opponents by giving interviews that no-one understands"-tactic? The "haben gespielt wie Flasche leer"-tactic? Or the "Ich habe fertig"-tactic? Big grin

By the way, I just checked www.eintracht.de - there's a PDF-form for ordering tickets on there; I can take care of that, but I'd need everyone who's coming to the game to give me a definitive OK for ordering the ticket as soon as possible - and we'll have to settle on a ticket-category... here's the link to the info about prices & where the seats are:

http://www.eintracht.de/tickets/tageskarten/

Ah, well, if that's the case... let'em have a few diet pills, flush their intestines and get them prepped up again - Eintracht needs all the support it can get!

As for the "nonrecurring" comment - you mean because, after that game, Bayern unfortunately always won? Or because Bayern wasn't brave enough to follow Frankfurt into the 2nd league? Big grin

Most probably not. I did not go to a girls´ school in the slums of Offenbach

I still love to remember the last time I was in the Waldstadion when Frankfurt played against Bayern.
Munich trailed 0:1 after the first half. In the second half, Fjoertoft missed a penalty (  ), afterwards Kahn and his backup Dreher were injured so Michael Tarnat had to take over the keeper´s jersey...however Frankfurt´s offense was too damn stupid to place a single shot on goal within 30 or 40 minutes while Bayern scored 2 goals and deservedly went away with a glorious win...what a great evening that was...I got terribly drunk afterwards of course
