Hello Erikwilliam.

Today I'll be having "English Clam Chowder" with cream cheese on crackers, washed down with a tasty pop/soda (Sprite), followed by a coffee & a few cookies. It's just a simple & small lunch.

Bon appetit!

Chris

Hi LFutia.

Unfortunately the computers screwed up many of the different languages ( saying Bon appetit!) I posted by adding codes where there were spaces, etc. Oh Well! It looked cool at first.

Hello Logan22L.

Well, it's actually called "New England Clam Chowder", and it's very good stuff.

Main Ingredients: Clam Broth, Potatoes, Clams, Cream, etc.

I'm surprised you don't think you'd like it seeing how you live in "New England!"  Silly

Here's a recipe ... http://www.bbonline.com/recipe/dockside_me_recipe1.html

I couldn´t compare with the one you have there, but in here I belive is lighter version of it, since my country is pretty close to hell in terms of average temperature.

Anyway, nothing like a good beer on a hot day

I'm meeting a couple of colleagues at an Irish pub called The Elephant & Castle. Food's okay but nothing special; it's a local watering hole for the folks who work in Boston's financial district. Anyway, it's a short walk on a very hot day.

England is to food as France is to car.

That made me remember a funny line in the comedy movie ... "A Fish Called Wanda".

During the scene when actor Kevin Klein is shoving french fries up Ken's (Kakakakaaaaa ... Kekekekkeeennnn!) nose, he states .........

"Ah, the Chip! England's contribution to world cuisine!"

Maybe it's supposed to be 'luck time' as he may have been in a casino.

Anyhow, just for the record I had a chicken salad sandwich from Sticklers in downtown Phoenix. And it was grim. Can't beat a chicken bacon ranch from Subway. hmmmm toasty.
