Good morning!

I just bought a Compaq lap tap with a AMD Turion 64 in it. My husband has the exact same laptop but with a Pentium thing in it. My laptop gets incredibly hot after about 10 minutes and his does not. Is this normal for the Turion to get so hot?

www.tomshardware.com should have the best info....

Your hubby likely has a pentium "M" which yes, runs a LOT cooler then anything..but it's slower too.

Powerful laptops do get very hot. I had an Apple Powerbook G4 which I swear you could fry an egg on!

I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?
