I love my sleep, but don't get enough of it lately, Im always on here. For instance, I went to bed last night at 1am, then woke up around 8.15am and turned on my computer straight away to see what I had missed on here. Normally, I would have turned over and gone back to sleep for at least 2 hours. The lack of sleep is starting to show and the bags under my eyes are starting to look like excess baggage, so I best start to get some early nights (by myself unfortunately )

as a person with a Thyroid problem, I found my self sleeping all the time. I try not to sleep as much anymore. Now mind you the winter is coming and I hate the cold, the best way is to sleep that away.

I worship sleep, but only in the morning, when it is time to get my ass out of bed. I hate to go to sleep, and I hate to get out of bed. Ever since my divorce, however, I have taken to going to sleep earlier, and waking up too early. WTF???
I've got to figure this out.
BTW, Kirkie, the only reason you love sleep is so you can count sheep.

I sleep because I have too. I like it but I don't really sleep just for the fun of it. I never sleep during the day (unless I am really sick) or sleep more then 9 hours a night. Of course I like the part about dreaming of nice ladies, airplanes and other cool things.

I do love sleeping. However last Saturday morning I was woken before 7 am as a Starlifter was heading down to the Antarctic, damn those things are loud.

From your signature I see you like going to the gym, do you take soy protein supplements? Excessive consumption of soy can cause thyroid problems.

I like sleep, but I'm not going to kid myself - I simply do not get enough of the stuff. I get such a kick out of my work - I'm up and at em at 4am every week day. I then work till very late at night. Of course I have to have a few hours surfing a.net - and then it's a quick sleep and off to work again!

I only stick to Whey Protein, I don't take soy Protein, never have. I was told that whey is the best one to take. But I have gone to the Doctor and had my thyroid tested, now I am on level Thryocin to balance it out. I have an under active thyroid, and when its like that you are tired all the time.

Damned straight I love sleeping. I need eight hours or I get grumpy. I'm okay for a few days but then I am in big trouble. I love the sensation of going to sleep and I love waking up naturally in the morning. Sleeping is very important to me and I don't let many things interfere with it.

Hell yeah I do as I pointed out in the sleep sex food thread about a week ago. 5-6 hours are enough; 6-7 are perfect, and anything above 7 just makes me sleepy all day. In the weekends though I love to sleep in till, say, 10 or even 12

I love sleeping! Even better on rainy days. Nowadays I work regular hours during the day. Some days start early (06.00) when I am responsible for CO, others days I start late (12.00) when I am just doing DL, PY or KL.
A few years ago KLM had its flights to Peru and Ecuador make a stop in AUA. The flights had some odd hours which in turn meant I had to work odd hours.... split shifts.
Working from 12.30-16.30 (17.00 if you had flight watch)
Working from 00.30-04.30 (05.00 if you had flight watch)
This for a period of 5 days every 4 weeks. Man I was totally destroyed! Only catching a few hours at a time. I was never so happy when KLM decided to move the flights to BON and give us the non-stops!
Aruba is a Caribbean island... really warm. I go visit my parents who live in Holland 6-7 times a year. I notice that when I do so in the winter, I tend to sleep A LOT! When visiting Holland in the winter the thing I see most is my bed! In the summer, I don't have this problem.
Is it just me, or do people who live in cold areas tend to sleep more than usual?
