I wouldn't exactly call that "flipping out" I think he was just playing around... I think stuff like that in the news casting makes it a little more lively for the audience and makes working on a 24/7 news network a little more bearable for the anchors.

He was on all night the screen shows 1:32amPCT that is 4:32am. He was tired and trying to get important information out, he is the meteorologist not that anchor women. She should have just let him talk. Anyway yes its was a little un-called for but I wonder how the rest of it went if they laughed or just went on with the show? You cant really blame the guy to much.
