How Phony Can They Get?

Here’s a touching scene, featuring Cindy Sheehan and the Reverend Al Sharpton, in front of crosses, looking solemn and sad.

Now let’s zoom out and see the media swarm around this manufactured event:

There are like 4 activists and the rest are reporters. A new ABCNews/Washington Post poll(in which they took it off thier webpage this afternoon, no surprise) shows the campaign by Cindy Sheehan has had little effect on public opinion about the war! Seventy nine percent say they haven't been swayed by the Gold Star mom. In other news, the soon-to-be Miss Sheehan will lead a protest to an Air Show at NAS Brunswick to protest the Blue Angels. Sheehan will take the protest, and this rent-a-mob on a bus tour for peace later this week. Horray!

Hey, I like Al! He's funny. Makes me laugh. They should give him a TV show or something.

Publicity pimp Sharpton never met a camera he didn't like.

And what point is Sheehan getting across protesting the Blue Angels?

Presidency in '08.Look out!

Add-on:I wonder if Superfly were here, what he would say?

Sheehan's cause has now completely lost any and all credibility. Associating with a media whore like Sharpton finished her off. It could have been Jesse Jackson.

Interestingly, most of the big Democrats aren't touching Sheehan with a ten foot pole. Draw your own conclusions  Wink.

Al Sharpton. RR:0 CredibilityR:0. GREAT choice for representation of ANY liberal cause: NEVER!!

This bitch needs some prozac and to just learn to accept the fact her son died for a lie and get over it. If she could have EVER presented her case RATIONALLY, ok she's got a point and a right to go traipsing across the country as a mad mother. However her psychotic no fact based emotional rants even turn bush haters like me off.

To be honest I haven't paid to much attention to the whole Sheehan protest/counter protest, it had "Media Circus" written all over it from day one. But if you're looking for a way to blow your credibility, I can't think of a better way than cozying up to Sharpton.

On a side note, Sharpton was pulled over in Crawford Monday for speeding while on his way to the airport. He and his driver. I couldn't find the article, but saw it yesterday somewhere.

The question was which politician isn't a media whore. Not which politicians are cozying up to Sheehan.

I know--that was my observation. Speaking of which, what Democrats, if any, have even publicly mentioned Sheehan?

Don't know of any offhand. I think they're still out on junkets, err, vacation, with their Republican pals.

If you go around referring to women who annoy and/or intimidate you "bitches" in public, then maybe you're the one who needs some chemical therapy.

Although I agree that Sharpton is hardly the kind of person that brings mainstream credibility to any cause, it doesn't look to me like she really has much of a choice.

Maybe it's because you are insensitive, rude, and vulgar. Didn't your parents ever slap you around for talking like that?

She hasn't had a choice since she arrived in Crawford, SATX . . . every attention whore group - on both sides of the aisle - have been all over this like stink on shit . . . Sheehan is but a pawn . . .
