Hello all. I have a very perplexing question that has stumped me for a while. I have small Sony shelf system and it will play any CD I give it, but it will not play Pink Floyd The Wall. The CD is a store bought original not a burned copy. And it will play in any other CD player.

Thanks! Smile

It could be a small defect that this specific player pickup simply can't read across.

The so-called "protected CDs" some labels are trying to push into the market are another thing - they are manufactured with defects and actually aren't CDs any more since they violate the official specifications in several ways. But I don´t know if The Wall is one of those (if it is and it still bears the "Compact Disc" logo, you can return it as it is fraudulent advertising).
