Well, I'm going to see the game in about 1 hour. This match is very important to both teams. What are your predictions?

I think Poland will take this one again and go on top of Group 6 with one more played. I think this group will basically come down to one thing: England vs. Poland winner takes it all loser goes to playoffs.

England BARELY managed to edge out Wales 1-0 after that Joe Cole gaff.

Poland no doubt is stronger than Austria and is in good form. I think that Zurawski and Frankowski will score. Interesting to see if Rasiak will do anything (as we call him in Poland, Rasialdo because he has a wooden leg that cant score hehe) Also Olisadebe is playing again, his last goal being against the USA in Korea/Japan and his last cap was early 2002.

I just watched the complete thrashing of Bulgaria by Sweden 3 to nil on Fox Soccer Channel. That Ibrahimovic goal in the 90th min was pure genius, Larsson whos only 5'10 pulled a Michael Jordan with his header pass to Zlatan and he completed it with a sideways scissor kick...genius.

I also note interesting that Finland drew with Andorra 0-0...what the hell is Finland doing?  Silly

The death group no doubt is Group 4 Switzerland vs. Israel, this could be bye bye for the French!

BTW, good job on the Scottish part on leading Italy 1 to nil so far. Although I think this wont hold hahhaa  Silly

Sounds like a nice game, too bad that no tv station broadcast it live here in Germany, instead we had to watch that Slovakia vs. Germany crap game.

I hope for a small report of the Poland game later tonight!

We ALMOST drew because of Linz (substitute), that dodgy man almost scored a hat trick, at the 90th and 92nd minute because our defense went bye bye after the 60th minute. What the hell were Klos and Bak doing for gods sake.

I heard about the German game, sorry to hear this!

What an unbelievable Turkey vs. Denmark though!

Wait how does this work out? From what I read on http://www.pilkanozna.org/ and 90minut.pl we still need to secure a Wales win.

From our group first two teams advance automaticaly.
Austria is 3rd with 11 points. If they will 3 next games they will have 20 points. Poland has 21!  Smile

Heading from Gazeta Wyborcza
"Już nic i nikt nie zabierze Polsce drugiego miejsca w grupie VI!"
Translation for our English speaking friends:
"Nothing and nobody will take Poland's second place in group 6!"  Smile

I'll see you guys in Germany  Smile

Sorry Rafal but you have this wrong.

There are only 2 2nd place teams that automatically advance from all the groups. Those 2 teams are the the 2nd place teams that have the most points out of every 2nd place team in each group. Every other 2nd place teams play in a playoff to advance. Poland is guaranteed in a playoff already but not guaranteed qualification. We will qualify though if we beat Wales on Wednesday because then we will become at the least 1 of those 2 2nd place teams that has the most points.

If we lose to Wales we are not going to go in automatically, if we lose against England after losing to Wales we are in the playoffs for 2nd placed teams. If we win in Wales we go to Germany no matter the outcome of the game in England. If we lose to Wales and win with England we go to Germany.
