Rum is probably my liquor of choice. So, what's your favorite?
I used to be a big fan of the Captain, but a friend recently introduced me to Sailor Jerry's. Excellent! It's fairly inexpensive, but has a better taste and stronger alcohol content (92 proof) than Morgan. It definitely earns the JCS17 Seal Of Approval.

Jager ties with Teguila: Cabo Wabo or Patron
I prefer a Long Island "extra long."
My stash lasts about three weeks.
Yes, I have a pic of my liquor. The Jager lives in the freezer.
BAB
I forgot to add Jager bombs! Jesus Christ I love me some Jager bombs! 5 or 6 ought to get me going.

The only rum I can get into my body is Stroh 80, I had a bad experience with Red Heart when I was just out of school, now the smell alone is enough to make my stomach do backflips....same with SoCo.

I don't drink much booze but when then mostly rum. I prefer Havanna Club, the 3 year old is ok for long-drinks such as Cuba Libre but the 5 year old is even better. The 7 year old is perfect to drink it straight, the stuff is simply too good to mix it with coke or similar stuff.

Quoting Andz (Reply 20): You are right of course....sorry, I guess I read it through a booze induced haze!
Well, maybe not. On 2nd thought, I guess JCS17 really referred to rum only. Would make sense also, regarding the thread title...
Anyway, let's blame it on him for not making himself clear...
As for rum, I fully agree with Patrick. Though I rarely drink rum straight - only, if neither whisky nor cognac is available. But the 7-year-old Havana Club is good stuff, no doubt. Drop me a note when you're in Hamburg, Patrick, we could have some Cuba Libres then.
