Well, I finally reached my appropriate weight. I guess this is self-gloss, but damn, I've been working my butt off to lose the weight. I was put on some meds that made me gain weight, I'm still on them, but nothing beats hard exercise and eating healthy. I started on the Atkins diet, but quit after a short time because I couldn't stand just eating greasy meat, cheese, and eggs. Then I started South Beach, which was better, but not great. So I started working out every other day and eating VERY healthy, low-fat foods.
Here's me a year and a half ago at 250 pounds:
And here's me today at 180 pounds:
I feel like a million dollars, though I need to do a little more toning in the gym. But god, you don't realize how big you were until you lose the weight.
Anyway, thought some of you might get a laugh at this.

Hey that is GREAT and self gloss away after something like this/that......
Seroquel 400mg @ night. Stuff makes you hungry and eat like crazy. Still take it, but don't let myself eat afterward. It's waaaay hard not to, but I do.

That's great. I've found that drinking lots of water helps too. Actually getting the recommended 8 glasses a day takes up a lot of room in your stomach.

Well done! You look fabulous and should definitely be congratulated. I had a similar (though not so significant) weight loss myself of about 55lb. In the end all I found worked for me was controlling my calorie intake and exercising on a regular basis. My weight was an emotional rather than physical facet and I just had to deal with it as such.
At around 200lbs - Sorry about the size (of the picture)

Congrats, UAL747.
Now the trick is KEEPING the weight off!
Being overweight is one of the worst things in the world. Now you look great, feel great, and (hopefully) act great! Do not ever let your body get like that again.
