A new season of the Champions League begins today with the following games:

Tuesday, September 13:

  • AC Milan vs. Fenerbahce

  • Artmedia Bratislava vs. Inter Milan

  • Chelsea vs. Anderlecht

  • Lyon vs. Real Madrid

  • Olympiacos vs. Rosenborg

  • PSV vs. Schalke 04

  • Rangers vs. FC Porto

  • Real Betis vs. Liverpool

  • Wednesday, Sptember 14:

  • Arsenal vs. FC Thun

  • Benfica vs. Lille

  • Club Brugge vs. Juventus

  • Rapid Vienna vs. Bayern Munich

  • Sparta Prague vs. Ajax

  • Udinese vs. Panathinaikos

  • Villarreal vs. Man Utd

  • Werder Bremen vs. Barcelona

  • I am really curious how the German teams will play. Bremen was really good on the last Bundesliga matchday while Schalke and Bayern played rather dissapointing, hopefully they will have a good start.

    Thoughts, opinions, predictions?

The Rangers have to play against Porto, not an easy game! Porto is doing very well at the moment, they won all their games in the Portuguese league so far.

Even if the game is not over yet, it is already the best result on this day IMHO "Los Galacticos" trailing 0:3, brilliant  thumbsup .

LOL hahahaha that's hilarious. Real is really the worst managed club in Europe. They spend dozens of millions of € (as I know 60 mio only this year) but has a so crappy team. Every other club could spend the money much better. I only hope Real won't reach the 1/8 finals.
BTW the worst player they have is this terribly stupid Beckham.

A few very surprising results tonight, especially the Real game. Big grin

I hope GKirk was still sober enough to realize that the Rangers won.  Wink

Yes they were very lucky to win because Porto played better. But, won is won. Who will ask tomorrow how they did it.

Rosenborg came back after conceding a goal in Greece, to win 3-1 over Olympiacos. Hilarious to know they are 3 points ahead of Real Madrid, with a goal difference of 6 in the Champions League, and fighting to avoid relegation in the Norwegian premiership. Big grin

Looking forward to the villareal vs United match tonight.  Smile
