This morning (Thursday 22/9) there was a thread about hiring 'Home Depot Mexicans'. It would seem to have been pretty controversial: one minute it was there with 40+ posts, the next minute it was gone.

A Top 10 is a little difficult, but anything to do with Roman Catholics, hurricanes, FEMA, US politics in general and George W. Bush in particular (poor man), shooting innocent Brazilians in Underground stations, gays, and ethnic minorities seems to attract partisan bitchiness like flies to a cow pat.

Yeah, apparently Mexicans are the new pet project that makes people feel good about themselves. Simply mentioning the word 'Mexicans' can ellicit undocumented (umm, no pun intended) accusations of racism and bigotry. It would certainly be among the current controversial topics.

How about:

Should Australia Have A Republic.

Some people are so freaking lame that they can't discuss this issue without raving on like banshees and getting all personal. I still can't get over that some said we shouldn't discuss the issue because some would be offended by the notion. If this was applied, it would place in jeopardy almost every thread in this bloody forum.

Don't patronise me Catatonic - I present my arguments in a logical and coherant way and I DON'T get personal. Read the thread instead of just assuming whatever you wish to assume.

Well apparently the self pic threads are controversial and annoy certain members. Funny though that they bother making such remarks since I just don't open what I am not interested in getting involved with. And ironically, they are the most viewed threads. Not that unpopular after all I guess  mischievous
