Hello Everyone, I just started my new job, and I guess I SHOULD be excited... but I'm not.
I mean, the pay is pretty good (8.55/hr and 11.05/hr on weekends + Every Friday off and Every other Saturday and Sunday off). But for some reason, I feel uncomfortable. Maybe it is because I'm new, and I fear that I'll screw up somehow. The hours are also pretty good (8:00AM - 4:30PM)
Can anyone explain why I may feel uncomfortable and out of place.
BTW -- I'm a "carryout" at Menards... Basically what a stockman does at Wally-World, except it places more demand. OY!
This job is just temporary until I can find a job in the aviation industry (That is after I decide where I wanna go, and after I figure out who is merging with who).

Try giving a history lesson in a small classroom packed with Emotionally disturbed "Urban" High School students, without air conditioning in a very hot a humid building.

regardless of how detestable you may find a job, you can always take what you want from it and use the opportunity to learn something and move forward, while maintaining a positive attitude.
the experiences, no matter how minor, you gain in this position will only aid you in some way later on down the road. and i dont mean your job duties, but real-life experiences from the cast of people you have to work with, to even smaller situations that can cause stress, or anxiety. you can learn a lot about yourself and use that information.
