I wouldn't call San Diego's win an upset. Yeah the Pats are tough at home but their defense is banged up and Marty Schotenheimer finally figured out last week that if you give the ball to Tomlinson good things will happen. I had picked the Chargers to go into Foxboro and take this game.
The Manning brothers throw 4 TD's each today as their teams win big. Peyton is back on track and Eli is simply silencing the haters.

I was at the Pats-Chargers game today. At halftime I thought were were looking at ones of those last-second wins again, I was so damn wrong. The Pats had no one to cover Gates with Harrison out. That guy didn't even play in college, how the hell is he so freakin good?! The Pats need to do something with their secondary quickly or we won't be heading to Detriot(that could be a good thing )

Rams got beaten up by the Giants 44-24, which I really can't say comes as a surprise because we no longer have a running game. I don't really care though, since I was watching a different game...
Elsewhere around the league, the NFC North looks serious in challenging the NFC West as the league's most pitiful and embarrassing division. The Bears, Vikings, Lions and Packers have won a combined 3 games in 4 weeks. Ouch!

The Bengals played an absolute horrible game. Chalk up another 14 penalties. Lewis seems to have the program in order, but he needs to discipline the hell out of everybody for the stupid mistakes. We also played most of the game with the 3rd string center. Good teams find a way to win when they're not playing their best.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!! What an amazing comeback win over the Chiefs 37-31 in Arrowhead...down by 24-6 at one point after an ugly first quarter, we reeled off 31 unanswered points from the 2nd quarter til late in the 4th, when the Chiefs finally had a decent drive again into the end zone, but it was too little, too late...what a comeback!!!!
Next week, its off to the unfriendly confines of Texas Stadium for our first division matchup vs. the Cowgirls...not going to be televised here unfortunately, but NFL Field Pass is the greatest thing since sliced bread so I won't totally miss out on it...

Cowboys lost. What a surprise. Honestly, though, all I really want is for the Cowboys to beat the Eagles next week. First off, I really despise the Eagles. Secondly, it is a lot easier to deal with happy rich drunks than pissed off rich drunks. And we will have a lot of rich drunks flying out of here next Sunday no matter what the score. Now I know that the Cowboys have about as good a chance of beating the Eagles as the Colorado Buffs have of beating Texas (Hook 'em, Greg ), but please, Cowboys, for my sanity, beat the Eagles on the 9th.
