I wouldn't call San Diego's win an upset. Yeah the Pats are tough at home but their defense is banged up and Marty Schotenheimer finally figured out last week that if you give the ball to Tomlinson good things will happen. I had picked the Chargers to go into Foxboro and take this game.

The Manning brothers throw 4 TD's each today as their teams win big. Peyton is back on track and Eli is simply silencing the haters.

We are in trouble - a tough schedule, and not enough defense. Brady ain't clicking either.

Griese tried to give it away but the Bucs take it, 17-13.

Just shows what a game of inches football is, the plays to Pollard and Williams at the end were out of bounds by inches.

I was at the Pats-Chargers game today. At halftime I thought were were looking at ones of those last-second wins again, I was so damn wrong. The Pats had no one to cover Gates with Harrison out. That guy didn't even play in college, how the hell is he so freakin good?! The Pats need to do something with their secondary quickly or we won't be heading to Detriot(that could be a good thing  Wink)

Panthers are playing Green Bay tommorow night. We HAVE to win this game to keep up with the surprising Bucs. I think we should win because GB is absolutely horrible.

Rams got beaten up by the Giants 44-24, which I really can't say comes as a surprise because we no longer have a running game. I don't really care though, since I was watching a different game...

Elsewhere around the league, the NFC North looks serious in challenging the NFC West as the league's most pitiful and embarrassing division. The Bears, Vikings, Lions and Packers have won a combined 3 games in 4 weeks. Ouch!

Texans 10

The Bengals played an absolute horrible game. Chalk up another 14 penalties. Lewis seems to have the program in order, but he needs to discipline the hell out of everybody for the stupid mistakes. We also played most of the game with the 3rd string center. Good teams find a way to win when they're not playing their best.

Eli Manning (19 for 35, 4 TDS /0 INTS) and the offence had another soild game today in a 44-24 win over the Rams.

This Giants team is going to be very good this year. They just need to get more solid on Defence.

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!! What an amazing comeback win over the Chiefs 37-31 in Arrowhead...down by 24-6 at one point after an ugly first quarter, we reeled off 31 unanswered points from the 2nd quarter til late in the 4th, when the Chiefs finally had a decent drive again into the end zone, but it was too little, too late...what a comeback!!!!

Next week, its off to the unfriendly confines of Texas Stadium for our first division matchup vs. the Cowgirls...not going to be televised here unfortunately, but NFL Field Pass is the greatest thing since sliced bread so I won't totally miss out on it...

E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!

How did my team do?

One word: Titans.

Translation: BAD

We left the game in the third...

One side note, as we were traveling back from Brentwood after doing some shopping and eating to home north of Nashville, we got to see the Colts take off from BNA in their NWA 757-200 (flight 9967).

That's about the most excitement we had for the game...

Cowboys lost. What a surprise. Honestly, though, all I really want is for the Cowboys to beat the Eagles next week. First off, I really despise the Eagles. Secondly, it is a lot easier to deal with happy rich drunks than pissed off rich drunks. And we will have a lot of rich drunks flying out of here next Sunday no matter what the score. Now I know that the Cowboys have about as good a chance of beating the Eagles as the Colorado Buffs have of beating Texas (Hook 'em, Greg  Smile ), but please, Cowboys, for my sanity, beat the Eagles on the 9th.

What the hell did Terrell Owens do after his TD? Was that directed at someone? Chris Berman even made a comment that he had no idea what was going on.

I have no clue what it was either, but the Chiefs fans booed like crazy after he did it so it obviously pissed 'em off a bit...can't complain about that!!!

The Falcons dominated Minnesota today. 30-10 and the 10 points were scored late in the game against mostly second teamers.

Actually the scariest moment was when Vick sprained his knee.
