Apologies in advance in this is in the wrong place, but business takes me off to Zurich airport for the next couple of days (staying in Kloten) when, on wednesday night at least, my heart will be in Dublin..
Does anyone know of a nearby Irish bar where I will be able to watch the football (Switzerland v Rep. of Ireland), or whether I will need to go into Zurich itself?

Thanks for the responses. I'm not sure Bill bentley's will actually let me in after my karaoke performance there last year!
While I've no problem watching the game with the Swiss, it's the comradeship of those supporting Ireland I shall miss. I watched the corresponding game last year in Kloten, a bar named Nelsons, and was astonished to find the lack of interest in the game. (we should have muredered them by the way ). Mind you, that was after I'd ordered a bar meal at my hotel, confident that they were showing the game on the big screen, only to find it being tuned into a Germany Brazil friendly!
It looks like I'll have to head into Zurich. Nevertheless I'm encouraged to see a little write up for the Oliver Twist pub where
This is the place where the Irish community in Zürich gathers to drink a pint of Guinness (or maybe more) and to watch a hurling match shown on one of the two TV screens. It is also the place, which Scandinavian au-pair girls visit when they go out for the first time in Zürich

I recommend the "Noble Dubliner Pub" at Talstrasse/Sihlporte, but also the "James Joyce Pub" at Pelikanstrasse 8 (quite near to Sihlporte) might be a good idea. In case of the "Noble Dubliner Pub", it may be mentioned that they have quite a good American Chardonnay on the list, unless of course you are on beer.
