Bin Laden Crushed To Death!

According to a Swedish newspaper, intelligence sources say that Osama bin Laden was crushed during a cave-in during the recent earthquake in the region. The paper Expressen is quoting India Daily News, in turn quoting Pakistani intelligence sources.

http://www.expressen.se/index.jsp?a=451516
This is the Swedish newspaper where I first saw this... only in Swedish though.

http://www.indiadaily.com/editorial/11-08d-04.asp
I did a search of the India Daily News website, and came up with this.

Any thoughts or additional information?

Cheers
Mats

[Edit: IDN claims that Osama was in Falluja and might have been killed there.]

Sure, we're concerned for our lives. Just not as concerned as saving 9 bucks on a roundtrip to Ft. Myers.

"Rumor is rampant in Baghdad that the dreaded Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and Osama Bin Laden are trapped in Falluja."

I find it a little very hard to believe that OBL who has in the last few years avoided the battlefield would be stupid enough to enter Falluja.

Why would he suddendly make such a major tactical mistake ?

I've spoken to several people so far and it seems like this hasn't gotten out very much yet. If its true, its about damn time. I hope it can be verified soon.

Until then, I hope and pray that its correct.

Ditto. If killing innocent people by suicide bombing and crashing airliners into buildings can be considered "God's will" then being killed in an earthquake sure as hell can.

However, there's no mention of it from the BBC or CNN.

I think it would help more than you think. The operatives in Al Queda probably have been told by Bin Laden and other leaders that if the leadership is killed by American forces or some other group as an intentional act, then they should initiate attacks in retaliation. This has been a relatively widespread view by most intelligence services in the world, as it is a hallmark characteristic of the terrorist group. However, there is no indication to think that him dying by natural causes, well....natural being mother nature, would spark such a panic.

Only time will tell, I guess.

I wouldn't trust Pakistani intelligence on this, considering that they were the main Bin Laden's protectors during many months after 9/11.

Before during and after 9-11 they also gave millions to his terrorist group.
