End of this year Rocky VI will be released, and begin next year Rambo IV.

No way!

What the hell is the plot of Rocky VI?

A couple punch drunk retired boxers in a nursing home drooling on themselves?

And Rambo IV?

Sounds like Stallone has hit the skids- out of money, star has fallen, trying to desperately rekindle some semblance of Hollywood draw again. Pathetic, really.

Probably Stallone will be the manager of a hot 'Rocky' like fighter or a mentor to another 'Rambo'. Please Hollywood, stop the madness, you know you will lose your wallet on so many reruns!

In the film, Rocky’s now a restaurant owner, one that's still grieving over the death of his wife, Adrian. Rocko decides to fight his loneliness by returning to the ring to fight a few low-scale, local, fights. When he accepts a challenge to take on reigning heavyweight champ Mason "The Line" Dixon, his comeback suddenly attracts the interest of the mass media.

This has the makings of being the worst movie ever. Really. Total waste of celluloid.

Based on this tentative storyline, I take it Talia Shire didn't want to return as Adrian huh?  Smile LOL!

The Rocky movies were good until they killed Apollo Creed. Killing Adrien ... how could even think of doing a sequel without her.

I have an idea. They could kill Rocky and then have Stallone play Rocky's son.

I'd sacrafice my left nut for this to be true. Long live Sly!

And I'd cut off my other nut if they made a 'Judge Dread II'.

This should be the plot of Rocky 6. Rocky's son will turn to boxing and will fight Apollo Creed's son, and will lose to him. Then there should be a sequel when Rocky's son beats Apollo Creed's son in a rematch.
Then there will be another sequel when Rocky's son becomes a famous boxer and will lose to a unknown fighter because his father Rocky dies, then Apollo Creed's son will be his trainer for his rematch and will beat him.
Finally in the final sequel, Apollo Creed's son will return to boxing with Rocky's son as his trainer and will get killed in ring when he loses the fight to a big Russian. Then Rocky's son will fight the big Russian in Russia to avenge Apollo Creed's son death. Rocky will have a cameo as a ghost giving motivation to Rocky's son.  Big grin

Yea, it's so original! I fell asleep watching "The Patriot" with steven segal the other day, summary: retired military doctor with native american friends and family lives at peace in Montana until a group of gun-toting right wing extremists take control of the town and try to take Segal's daughter captive to use her blood for a cure to some sort of terrible virus.

You know, I always thought that they didn't do justice to this well thought out formula, so I'm glad they're making another bad movie starring a washed up action hero with nearly the same plot

They should have killed Paulie by Rocky II. He has no function other than to act stupid. Maybe he'll croak off in Rocky VI.
