What's that song, sounds like its from the 80's, where it is like guys chanting for the chorus. It's like "uh uh uuh-uh-uh-uh-uh, uh, uh." Something like that. I heard it at morning cocktails this morning, and it's stuck in my head.

Make that the Crash test dummies  Smile

Lyrics acording to Google :

"Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm"

Once there was this kid who
Got into an accident and couldn't come to school
But when he finally came back
His hair had turned from black into bright white
He said that it was from when
The car had smashed so hard

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

Once there was this girl who
Wouldn't go and change with the girls in the change room
But when they finally made her
They saw birthmarks all over her body
She couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just been there

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

But both girl and boy were glad
'Cause one kid had it worse than that

'Cause then there was this boy whose
Parents made him come directly home right after school
And when they went to their church
They shook and lurched all over the church floor
He couldn't quite explain it
They'd always just gone there

Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm
Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm

This commercial appeared in the fall of 1997. In a red car are two teenages, the only sound is a song, to the tune of "Da, da, da, da..." The two see a chair waiting to be thrown in the garbage, look at each other...the next seen is them with the chair in the car. Their noses curl at a smell, they look at each again...the next seen the viewer sees the chair back on a curb..."Da...da..." song. (the song is Da Da Da by Trio)

It's not crash test dummies, or that VW commerical. It's more of a "Da da da la la la la da-da." It sounds like there are a lot of people singing it.

BTW Morning cocktails is basically when you get dressed up in a shirt and tie, and walk up to the frats and drink and play ruit until about an hour before the football game starts. Then you go to the tailgate, eat and drink some more, and then go home and sleep when the game starts.

This is a long shot, but could it be The Passenger by Iggy Pop? Does the refrain start with "singing" before the la la la part?

Never mind, I'm an idiot who doesn't know the difference between "uh uh uh" and "la la la" Unless I'm right, then I'm a genius.
