I hate beds that squeak. However my current bed does not squeak even when in intensive use.

My exe's bed used to squeek only when in a certain position. That did suck yes, because it was also the best. My university dorm bed used to squeek the WHOLE time, so that was a bitch as well. Then there's my bed in Vienna which never squeeked... It never let me down  bigthumbsup

Not drinking, also isn't a solution!

Squeaky beds are funny. My upstairs neighbors have a squeaky bed.... at least three times a week if not more. Big grin

My bed squeaks, but it's not because of the action it gets (quite the opposite), only because I have a crappy mattress that feels like a bag of coal.

Some bed don't have springs or any squeaking parts.

However, they are more expensive.

You might as well put the mattress on the floor...

Or check the shock-absorbers and do it in the car.

There must be a solution.

Hmmm the bed I slept in last night squeaked. I was staying in a motel somewhere in New Zealand.

My bed at home; doesn't squeak which is nice, ah so nice to be home again after 3 weeks away.

Ok so its not Friday I am a day late, blame Auckland airport for not providing me with free working Wifi.

If bed squeak, get new bed.
Simple solution-replace the squeaky part.

Then there is the waterbed equivalent - the air bubble rattle.

Friend of mine is an old non-skedder, told me this story.

He was on a layover (in the Philippines?) and through the wall behind his bed he'd hear: "squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! " for about thirty seconds then it would stop. He'd just about get to sleep and: "squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! " All night long! Not a good night's sleep.

Next morning, groggy from interrupted sleep, he dressed, carried his bags down the the elevator, pressed the button: "squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! squeak! " He'd been sleeping next to the elevator shaft.

I sleep on a latex mattress. It was expensive but it is wonderful.

Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.
