Hi all,

I thought we could do a sort of "Flashback Frenzy" remembering the first threads we, as young and green a.netters, ever dared to start.

It took my almost 18 months to start my first thread... and I guess I was hungry when I posted it.  Silly Some of the usernames bring back, shall we say, interesting memories.

Your Favourite Foreign Food?

Cheers, and have a good night/day/time!

Well, I am pretty new at A.net and I don't dare yet to start a thread. Better to test the river for Piranhas before setting out to swim. I hope I will soon. BTW, Aloges, I did answer your questions in the "doctors" thread.

Have a good night.

Alex

Well, my first post in A.Net was in a thread I started... but I have a good excuse, it was a trip report. My excuse to finally join A.Net

The first thread I started was in Dec. 2003, shortly after I joined. I had a question about flying cars.

Anytime. We'll talk again soon. Sleep well and don't get those Syndromes get you down in the morning (I like Ullrichs-Turner Syndrome the best).

I cant link to it since my other username has been deleted, but I believe it went something like this "Whats your favorite airport?". Not even thinking once about how it had probably been asked 500,000 times before. I guess it was a rookie mistake, as I think it was only my 2nd or 3rd day on the site.

Haha, but in my mind, it was my best thread ever, just because.

Thats to the best of my memory though, it was like 2 years ago.

Rereading the post, I noticed I screwed up and put that damn "u" in Qantas.

I've always accidentally misspelled Qantas because of the acronym:
Queensland And Northern Territory Air Service.

    Classic...

.. I also had older topics under different usernames but finding those would be practically impossible as I forgot what most of those usernames were!

edit: BULLSEYE! Embarrassing but probably not as embarrassing as Kaz's  Wink
